Good Gracious this has been a really long week! And the time change is really bugging me this time..I'm tired alot more than I should be and busier than I want to be. Tomorrow is our St Patrick's Day celebration (instigated by ME)..No telling what I might get to eat but I'm hoping corned beef on rye is one of those things..I have two weeks vacation coming up..separated by a week in the middle of that..but you'll see when it happens. The times will fall off my lists.

5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 cup black berries (fresh) and 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup

6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

6:30 am double espresso latte (plain soy milk) and splenda

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Passion Fruit Strawberry

8:15 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

9:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, SoBe Living Strawberry Banana

10:15 am 1/2 cup homemade coleslaw

11:00 am 12 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Peach Tea

12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half

12:40 pm 2.5 oz tilapia from last night and 1/2 cup mashed potatoes with butter buds (wow! filling!)

1:15 pm 12 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Peach Tea

2:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated

3:00 pm small orange..i really wanted the hard boiled egg but when I broke it open, it smelled funky..so I tossed it.

4:00 pm 24 oz Drink mix with ice, GV Kiwi Strawberry

6:30 pm 3.5 oz lean ground beef (made into meatballs) and a 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce over a cup of whole wheat spaghetti noodles.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1226
Fat: 38.9
Carbs: 134.1
Protein: 97.9

Could have done better on the protein but without my hard boiled egg, threw me off..The next couple of days will be alot of fatty stuff (corned beef).

How did you do?

Evening all. Getting back on track, but slowly. I've been taking a second calcium chew (Calcet) because I feel that I need to increase my calcium. I had pulled it back to one 500mg chew because when I got serious about all of my supplements, the calcium really made me constipated. I'm having a time adjusting to the new level but I'm hanging in there. I have also been trying some new protein drinks, but so far they just seem pricier without being better. I think I will stick to Bariatric Eating's Inspire protien powder. I also like the South Beach diet protein bars. I didn't know they had a meal replacement bar. I'll look for it.

I am trying to make myself calm down for these next few days until my husband leaves and then I have great hopes for getting a better handle on how my day goes and making better calorie choices. God help me.

Today:
9am cottage cheese and applesauce and toast and coffee
noon potato soup (homemade with milk and cheese, rather heavy, but at least its got protien (and the potatoes have to be used, husband found them on ..sale..))
1pm potatoes and onion...
1:30pm coffee, carrot halawa and, let me see, oh yes.. chocolate...
3pm coffee and protein drink mixed together (not as good as I had hoped)
4pm coleslaw
5pm chicken, brocoli and very small rice
6pm SF treat (maybe this will counter the calcium???)

today's totals:
calories: 1540
protein: 75 grams

lots and lots of fluids and all vitamins

Look forward to 'seeing' you all tomorrow. Enjoy the corned beef..

I'll say a few prayers for you, for sure..It's really hard when the hubby is deployed and away. I hated it when my husband drove across the country for a couple of weeks some years ago..

You did pretty good. I've never had calcium that causes constipation..Iron always bound me up bad..You might try adding some lethicin and/or garlic oil..of course it shouldnt' be enteric coated. I added omega 3 fish oil. OIl things are good for keeping the pipes *greased* I guess you could say.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Between the sick man-child and the time change - I'm just about asleep on my feet.

I did have a great report at the Cardioloigists office for my pacemaker check. everything is pacing along like it's supposed to so he's turned me lose for a year.

I needed to go have my labs drawn yesterday moring and wouldn't you know I couldn't find my script from the Dr. so basically I missed out on breakfast for no reason and that set me up for what I considered a downward spiral type day. ERRRGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

B: ---------
L: 2 Hot wings, pasta salad & French Bread
s: Eclair
s2: Coffee w/ splenda & french vanillla creamer
D: Cranberry Pork Roast, apple sauce & mac & cheese
lns: Vanilla Wafers

On a plus side 96oz of decaf tea. All of my vitamins. 20 minutes of exercise.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I was suppose to do a follow up blood draw last month for my vitamin D...and it slipped my mind. I think I'll do it next week while I'm off. At least it's a good excuse to have my hubby drive me in and buy me breakfast afterwards..now if I would just schedule an appointment on line and not dink around with facebook and such...

You did great today..get some sleep! Keep up the good work. See ya.
