So I made the Lenten Promise to get back on track... and here I am in the midst of my first day! In fact, I'm doing the 5 Day Pouch Test because I really like the idea of becoming more mindful of my pouch size and functioning. A little scale drop would be nice, too.Doing great so far!!

PBF: 6 oz skim milk
BF: 1 EAS Myoplex Carb Control Protein Shake
Sn: 1 EAS Myoplex Carb Control Protein Shake
L: Campbell's Cream of Brocolli Soup   Num Num Num!!

Scheduled a walk with a dear girlfriend tonight, too.  And I'm really proud of myself for taking this walk since I've not been able to go to the gym for two weeks due to terrible lower back pain.

Feeling good today! Day 1 in progress!

I haven't gone quite that far back (liquids) to get back on track but I'm being super vigilant. It's amazing what we "forget" the further out we get. I pulled all the surgeons paper work for his suggested post-op plan out and have re-read it. Simply remembering to sip sip sip throughout the day and not wait for my body to tell me I'm thirsty has been huge.

Good Luck to ya.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I totally agree about the water!  Right after surgery, you are home and its easy to keep water very near you and sip all day long.  Just the past few weeks I have really tried to drink 64 - 80 ounces of water a day (at work) and I feel so much better.

I think you are  my new inspiration.
A really good idea, start with learning my tummy again. I definitely eat too much and drink too little.
