I try to start the day with Nectar brand Protein drinks (ie: Chocolate Truffle Protein mixed with Cocoa Wheat hot cereal - YUM and filling), snacks are Atkins brand protein bars, dinner consists of small amounts of meats and veggies from the regular family dinner. Actually I love to cook still, I just can not eat as much, so by the time I have finished cooking and taste testing my creations - I AM TOO STUFFED TO EAT MUCH. My family doesn't seem to notice, since I have always served them before myself anyway.

One of my all time favorites is still spaghetti and meatballs.  My family loves it and I make the sauce from scratch and add extra vegies diced tomatos, onion, shreaded carrots and peppers chopped fine. I make turkey meatballs but you can also buy them.  The family eats the pasta I just skip it and go for the 2 or 3 1 ounce meaballs I make. Very filling and you can make in smaller batches and freeze if not cooking for a large group. By making your own sauce you can reduce a lot of fat and sugar. By making your own meatballs and using egg beaters to hold them together you avoid extra carbs.

For breakfast I like to have a serving of Greek Yogurt with some Jelly or Honey.

Lunch is cottage cheese, apple sauce, and Granola.

Dinner varies:  tonite I plan on having Red Beans & Rice (It's Fat Tuesday today, after all) which is itself a leftover from Sunday.  Last nite I had leftover Calzone.

Weekends we like to go out ot eat (and generate leftovers) and weekend meals vary a little more
Breakfasts: French Toast, Pancakes, Eggs/Toast/Bacon, Porridge
Lunch:  Salad or Soup & Half Sandwich.  Last weekend I was at Panera and had the Salad & Soup pick two.
Dinner:  Eating out or whatever I want to cook for fun.
