Accountability Sunday
Hi everyone. Yesterday was a panic. Today went better. I just need to find a way to better manage my activities, so that I don't do too much and still feel like I'm being productive and taking good advantage of this new improved health (that's where I need to find the balance: making good use of it and not abusing it..)
Today:
7am cottage cheese, applesauce, protein drink and dried pineapple.
8am carrot cake. (I just don't have a good explanation for this)
1pm quesadilla
2pm papaya
4pm chips...
5pm homemade pudding (this is really soothing. I need to experiment with the splenda with this one. It has a low sugar count and high protein)
6pm lettuce salad
7pm small piece of pineapple
today's totals:
calories: 1255
protein: 67 grams
all fluids and vitamins
well, ladies, I'm off to bed with an image of Dawn playing around on her husband's new cell phone..
look for you all tomorrow

hahahaha...Yup, that was us. And my daughter came out so she could see it and so that we could do some facetime with our other daughter in Sacramento..I guess cellphones will video chat too! So many technology things have just passed me by for years. We even played with the bar code scanner on the phone..what a trip! It tells you the product and the prices of all the stores in the area..and GPS..all sorts of cool new toys to explore.
On to my food for the day:
Breakfast: 1/4 serving of protein waffles, 1/2 large apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
2nd breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices tomato, 2 slices rye toast without the crust
coffee X 3...for the morning.
double espresso latte.
Lunch: 3 oz or so of braised beef with some veggies added
double espresso latte for a snack
1 oz honey roasted peanuts
Dinner: 1/4 lb cheese burger on a sandwich thin with mayo
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1559
Fat: 77.3
Carbs: 112.4
Protein: 123.6
not bad at all...actually better than yesterday. At least I remembered to eat some today! I was really tired today from all the house work I did yesterday..Tomorrow is the start of another work week..
