Went for my weekly weigh in and lost 1.8 pounds.  so i have lost just about 7 pounds since Feb 1st  It is comming off a lot slower then how it did with the surgery initally but it is comming off.  The new points plus program combined with what i learned from my surgery and the use of my tool is helping me get back in control and I am loving it.

I been away from the board a little bit because I had a death in the family.  My mom who passed away last year at the age of 57..her sister passed away on saturday at 63.  So i havent been around here too often ....Alot to deal with and still loosing weight. I am very greatful for that.

So sorry to hear about your mom. Our family lost one this last month. My step daughter's biological mom died and she was only 63..Stress can do some pretty bad things to anyone and it's been really bad trying to support my girls in this thing. I lost my own mom 36 years ago and while it's not a fresh wound, it's nontheless a wound..

Congrats on the loss of all that weight. You know they say to shoot for a pound a week..you far out did that! Awesome!

Keep up the good work. When the weather is better, it will be easier to get out and move more..You go, Girl!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

Congrats on success on WW---many doctors recommend it as the way to lose weight.  For me, prior to weight loss surgery, it never worked.....my metabolism was in the toilet so I don't think anything would've worked--except WLS.  It is good to know that WLS graduates can have success with their plan.

Have a great weekend.

I have lost weight on weigh****chers in the past but this is my first try at it since having the surgery.  Yes it is easy to follow our surgery rules along with the ww points system.  I am happy to hear others are using it as well.  It is helping me regain control and awareness of what i am eating.  Thanks everyone for your support.

Good for you LisaMarie for working on your weight loss. The further out we get, it's all us keeping the weight off and you have found your answer what works for you! Wwhhoooooooo!!

I know lots of bariatric peeps who do weigh****chers and they love it. They can stay on the program with no problem and tweek it to their needs.
I love WW frozen TV dinners too and take them to work when I get too lazy making my lunches.
