Yikes! Up 45 minutes late..I'm sure it was the nyquill I had last night. I don't feel like I got really good sleep either! But I had enough time to pack my lunch and have my coffee latte..I thought about skipping breakfast but didn't..I did skip the apple with the waffle because that takes time to chop up

5:45 sips from a 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss to take my vitamins.

6:00 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup

6:30 am the rest of that coffee!

6:45 am double espresso with 1/2 cup frothed soy milk (I just found out this is a coffee latte!)

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Bavarian Berry

8:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat, an extra vitamin C

10:00 am 1 small orange

10:30 am 24 oz herb tea, GoodEarth Cocoa Chai Tea (tastes more like sassafras)

12:00 pm 12 oz decaf, with half n half

1:00 pm 4 oz tilapia (baked and then reheated), 1/2 cup canned green beans and packet (1.75 oz) dry roasted peanuts

1:45 pm 24 oz plain water with ice

2:50 pm 1 hard boiled egg

4:00 pm 24 oz Drink with ice, Nestea unsweetened with 1 packet of truvia

6:00 pm 4.5 oz deep fried chicken (from albertsons) the breast meat on a sandwich thin with processed americna cheese..
 
For dessert I'm thinking the rest of that apple pie thingie with NSA Fat Free vanilla ice cream..yeah. I could  use that. Maybe it will feed my cold!

Fat: 76.4
Carbs: 151.4
Protein: 121.3

Seriously not half bad..Carbs are high but not too bad..fat wasn't as high as I thought it was gonna be.

I'm gonna take my nyquil tonight and probably take the day quill with me..the late afternoons and me are NOT gettin along..

I taught a class all day and it went great; I am finally getting the hang of this I think! I love being a nurse and I love to teach so I thought this new job of  being a hospital nurse educator would be easy; not! I enjoy it more than being a nurse manager though!
0745-crustless veggie quiche with salsa
1000-5 mini dried plums and 14 almonds
1200-baby potluck-ate the meat and veggies out of a Lean cuisine, 1/4 PBJ on wheat, 2 big strawberries and 1/4 of a homemade cocunut cupcake with cream cheese frosting
1400-apple
1600-1/2 c 0% fage, 14 raspberries and 1 T ground flax
1800-1 serving pirates booty in car driving home
1930-1/2 serving beef burgundy- recipe from Eating Well After WLS- it was just okay had a slice of protein bread with it
??? hopefully nothing but maybe a skinny cow
all my water and such; yeah for hump day!

Teaching adults is nice...especially because they WANT to learn. Kids are really hard. I don't think I'd like that much!

Well, today has been good although dinner has been a bit sketchy. Just don't seem to be hungry and after only 2oz of pork, had to give up. But numbers are good and got more fluids in...that is always good ;-)

B  Protein drink w/water-chocolate malt
S  1/2c refried beans
L  4sl turkey bacon
S  4sl turkey ham w/2 tbsp strawberry cream cheese
S  2oz peanuts  2pc SF caramel candy
D  2oz pork loin
total:  1212 calories  66.8g fat  59.8g carb  90.6g protein

I can eat 5 ounces of turkey or chicken or 5 oz of cooked ground beef (weight before cooking) but pork...it's got to be the densest of meats or something. Or maybe it's just really rich..I know when we roasted a pork loin I cut 4 ounces of it and could only eat 2 of it. or if I do eat more it takes a really long time!~..It's definitely not slider food!
