Accountability - Monday
Not a bad day, just really busy..and since I'm trying to get over this cold, I'm sticking with chicken/turkey noodle soup..and it seemed to work. I wasn't doing too bad for the day. I'll make sure I bring sugar free cough drops and take my nyquil tonight too.
My eats for Monday:
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1 small apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:30 am double espresso with 1/2 cup frothed soy milk
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Vanilla Caramel, with Truvia
8:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
8:45 am 1 medium orange
9:15 am 12 oz herb tea, GoodEarth Cocoa Chai Tea
10:30 am 2 cups turkey noodle soup left over and frozen from last week *yum!! finally something to cut through the crap in my throat!*
11:20 am 24 oz unsweetened instant tea with sweet n low (pink packet) and some Tru Lemon (to cut the Yak taste of the sweetener).
12:45 pm 1 medium pear raw
2:00 pm 24 oz herb tea, Bigelow Lemon Lift with added True Lemon and sweet n low (pink packet)..yak..
2:40 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:00 pm 12 oz herb tea, cocoa and lemon lift (left over) with sweet n low packet
4:30 pm 24 oz instant unsweetened ice tea with ice and sweet n low.
6:15 pm steak sloppy joes (cut up steak with sloppy joe mix) on a sandwich thin, 5 long french fries and 1/2 oz chocolate covered (sf) pretzels
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1446
Fat: 49.7
Carbs: 153.4
Protein: 110.6
Actually, with the carbs that I had, it wasn't bad. Not bad at all. Now I'll have my nyquill and go to bed!

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Hope you feel better soon Dawn. I had another long day of blurred speech from the migrane/siezure syndrome. I couldn't believe I was hiding my eyes from the beautiful sunshine! But, God willing, tomorrow is coming. I think I'll be better soon.
Another day of amazement that I could consume so much and feel so bad. When this happens it effects my speech, but not so mush my typing... so here I am confessing to another whopping total for the day. (Maybe it's just the high calorie count that has left me 'speechless'???)

Hey Dawn and Leila...sure hope you both get on the mend right away. Hubby is down with a nasty head cold and I sure sympathize, Leila, with the migrains. No matter how long I wait for the sun, when one of those bugger**** I just want to bury my head under the covers!

I hope you and Leila are feeling better soon! Miserable to have a cold or migraines. I have never had a seizure but a few migraines that brought me to my knees. I had a busy, busy day and it flew by! I was glad to get back to my work routine like Sunray.

Ran 3 miles on the treadmill before work plus a total of .7m mile walking before and after. Went to gym again after work because friend was without a car and she really wanted to go, so she ran while I used the elipticical for 40 minutes, then we stretched really well which I did not do this morning. All my vits and water. I need to finish putting in my food but I think I did pretty good, all the carbs were good ones.
