Almost 7 Years Out ...Getting Back To Basics

I am so very happy that I read this. I am just over 6 years out and have gained back 25 lbs. I was smaller than I wanted LOL and tried to gain 10 back. I did and then I proceeded to total 25 back. Now I realize 15 lbs to lose should be a piece of cake (pun intended) after what we have done. I can not tell you how depressed I feel and how much your post made me realize that losing both parents in the past 18 months may have been the catalyst.

I am now going to take control of my life back!!! Protein 1st! ohhhh TY TY TY for your words. Just what I needed to get into my head. I AM NOT ALONE HERE.

Today is another beginning to get my self back to where I felt best. When I got on the scale today I was so upset. MY FAULT, but I know feel motivated to do what "I" need to do.

My best to all who are feeling the sadness of regain. We can do this again. My tool is still there although I can eat so much more than I used to, I realize how much grazing I do now. Time to put that bad habit away.

Thanks so much guys.  I am with you all the way.  Going back to basics tomorrow....protein first, no liquid for 30 mins either side of meals.  8 glasses of water a day.  Cut back carbs.  Slider foods have been my downfall. Good luck to you all.
