Hello all.  I had my surgery 5 years ago on Halloween.. I lost 90 pounds and kept it off for 4 years.  Following the sudden death of my mom last January i gradually have put on 30 pounds.  I have awoken from my year long coma and need to stop this before it gets more out of control.  I joined Weigh****cher last week.  I lost 2 pounds and I am on my way.  These support boards helped me so much before and I am hopeing they will help me again.  Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

I too am back after two years, I have only gained 17 lbs back but I know how you feel! Hang in there, you can get back on track and this is the best place in the world for help with that. You took a wonderful first step in doing so!

Hello Everyone!

I too am back after not being on these boards for about 2 years now.  In those two years my WL Surgeon has retired...I did find another Dr with a Dietician on his staff.  From reading your posts I see that all of us have just about gained around the same amount of pounds back.  I am up 15 lbs from my lowest Post Op weight.  These are the 15 lbs I want to get off of me by the time my daughter's wedding comes around February of 2012.  I still have image issues.  When I look in the mirror I do NOT see the weight loss but rather see myself as the same person I was at 285 lbs.  I came to the conclusion that I will probobly never see myself as thin"er" ......I am really going to put my mind to this weight loss goal and follow what my new Dr has told me----1 gallon of water per day, protein only (recommended for me) and NO eating in between meals.  I wish all of us LUCK and I AM SOOOO HAPPY TO BE BACK HOME WHERE I BELONG!  FAMILY!!!

Hi everyone. I am so happy to hear from everyone and it does feel like im home.  I joined ww 2 weeks ago and lost 4 pounds so far.  Not to bad.  The points program is more flex then the older program and allows me to use the points on as much protein as i need to! So its working for me so far...i will keep you posted.

Lisa Marie...your story is so like mine.  I lost my only sister recently but have been caring for her for 18 months (breast cancer) I know what you mean about a coma.  Just ate rubbish most days. I too am looking for support here.  Good luck to you and condolences about your loss.
