Accountabiilty - Thursday
This week has taken nearly a month to get through. The stress has been so hard..I'm more than ready to enjoy the weekend..Unfortunately I think I might be coming down with a cold..sore-ish throat..
My eats today:
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 large apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:30 am double espresso with 1/2 cup plain soy milk frothed
7:00 am 24 oz Herb Tea, Lipton Vanilla Caramel
8:25 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:40 am 1 small apple cut into slices
10:15 am 12 oz Wyler's Peach Tea
11:00 am salad: 2 cheesy banquet patties, 1 cup lettuce, 1/2 tomato, 1/4 cucumber, 1 oz three cheese dressing
11:30 am 12 oz decaf with creamer
12:00 pm 12 oz Wyler's Peach Tea
2:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
3:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with Ice, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated
4:30 pm 24 oz Herb Tea, Vanilla
6:30 pm 5.5 oz chicken thigh, baked, 1/4 cup instant brown rice, cooked. 1/2 cup canned peas
Not sure if I'm done for the night or what..I know tomorrow I'm gonna buy some sf chocolate peanut clusters..

Not bad. Sore throat isn't helping much. I think I may need a nice cup of hot tea and maybe make some chicken noodle soup tomorrow..

Dawn, this is the second time this week that I was writing the post at the same time you were...it doesn't feel right when I don't see you starting it up.
So I'm always happy when it happens..Sorry for your news last night. I'll be praying for you and your family.
So much stress, day after day. I have been so worried lately because I am just under a lot of pressure to get everything done on a schedule and it is hard for me to keep up, much less get ahead. I have been so grateful for my food diary. When the stress is high, I feel as though all I do is eat. But when I check my diary (and my scales..) I find that I'm not doing as bad as it seems. Thank you God.
I'm writing my food diary and thinking of you all.
My calories for the last 3 days have been at about 1500 and my protein at about 80 grams. My fluids are good and all vitamins. Something to be grateful for.

Your life is the same as mine is..I'm so stressed at work and with my daughter's mom that my neck starts getting stiff from like clenching my teeth..you know what I mean? The back of my neck is tight and starts to hurt..and it runs over the top and sides of my head...ouch. So much so that this afternoon, my throat was hurting..I sure don't need to be gettting sick!
You know, sometimes I'll go weeks and weeks without my weight changing at all and then I have a high calorie day and drop over a pound..I think the rule they always told us about increasing your calories to break a stall really has some validity to it..even with us now when we aren't on the way down anymore - to the same extent anyway.
I think it's also possible to burn more calories when you're stressed. Maybe the fact that we want to eat more when we're stressed has some biological basis too..

Three day weekend right? Nasty viruses going around this Winter! DD has strep throat and an ear infection! Just had Strep on 1-12-11! One more time this winter and they want to take out her tonsils. I made her chicken noodle soup for dinner.

I hope I'm not coming down with something! But I'm sure it's just stress. My neck is tight from stress and with a headache it feels like everything hurts. Having the three days off might just be what the doctor would order if I went to the doctor..LOL.
Not selfish of you if you've been putting all sorts of time and energy into it..When I was young, I remember getting all worked up over stuff that was going to happen at school and then getting sick and having to stay home. I missed a ton of stuff with that. Stress made me sick, even good stress.

I am so glad i started being accountable for what i put in my body--it really makes a difference when i think about having to post what i eat! who knew?haha
0100 cucumber slices (about 1/2 med cuc)
parm cheese crisps (8= 1/4cparm)
0245 PB/apple "quesadilla" 2 low carb whole grain tortillias w/2tbsp natural PB, 1/2 small apple sliced
0315 8oz h20 w/slimquick (im drinking this for the energy boost, but i think its making me jittery so i cut back to 1/2 bottle at a time)
0415 4oz green tea
0430 1c peanut flips
0800 quesadillia-two whole grain low carb tortillas with 1/3 c shredded mexican cheese, 1/2 roma tomato, 1/2 small avacado, onion slices. brushed grill with 1/2 tsp melted butter (ate 2/3--VERY filling)
0900 6 oz green tea
slept 1030 to 2245pm (working double shift thurs night/fri day needed to rest up!)
2300 4 McDs chicken nuggets

i havent been sick in awhile... wow i must be healthy. well even the healthist person can get sick i am sure.
i had a good day again and did something like a sit up in bed. 25 of them.

5 pizza combo's.. ___ bf bought them at work and gave me 5 of them.

seems to me that eating ice or munching on ice is the sign of a vitamin deficiency..I forget which one...iron? You could google it and find out and take some extra just in case.
You did really good. I'm up and cleaning house this morning just in case I do get sick. Nothing I hate worse than being too sick to clean a filthy house and having a filthy house..When the crumbs are sticking to my feet in all the rooms...definitely time to clean!
