Accountability - Sunday

Not a bad day..boring but then when there's nothing to watch on television, I should know better than to do all my housework Saturday. I did make my waffles ahead of time and managed three more loads of laundry, church and went to Walmart to get my Valentine's Day present..I decided on a coffee grinder that was adjustable so that I could grind my beans down to espresso grind..not at all bad..now I can get beans and have very fresh espresso! Woo Hoo!

My day in eats:

coffee (of course, can't start the day without it!) with NSA Swiss Miss

1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 large green apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup

double espresso with plain soy milk

24 oz drink mix with no ice, GV Strawberry

2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices tomato, 2 slices rye toast without the crust

24 oz drink mix without ice, Wyler's Peach Tea

double espresso with plain soy milk, frothed (yeah, the grinder works really well!)

Lunch: 3.5 oz chicken thigh meat on a sandwich thin with processed american cheese and mayo

12 oz herb tea with splenda

Dinner: 1/4 lb extra lean beef burger with processed american cheese on a sandwich thin (two in one day...not my best choice)

No dessert but I will have some more water for sure...probalby herb tea. Even though I haven't done anything today, I'm tired..I have a sinus headache

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1563
Fat: 75.3
Carbs: 119.7
Protein: 115.2

Well, not extremely bad anyway..Good enough for this weekend. I didn't eat any Super Bowl junk either. We don'****ch football at all. I don't like the Steelers but not for football reasons..I like Greenbay because I like Wisconsin and for genealogy reasons...my husband's ancestors were married there when they came from Norway..stupid reason to like a football team but since I don't really like football anyway, any reason will do.

How did you do?

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

phew..made it through another Sunday. Right now they are packed. 5 hours of classes leaves me drained. Then downstairs to cook and clean up?? Sorry, but that is just about all that this old woman can handle.

Today:
8am cheese omelet and english muffin
9am protein drink
11am veggie shrimp and noodles leftover
noon dried pinapple and herbal tea
3pm cereal, blueberries, and milk
4pm SF treat
6pm beef stew (look for this to appear often in the days to come as I slowly eat my way through the pot...)
7pm brownie

today's totals:
calories: 1535
protein: 78 grams

all of my fluids and vitamins

I am not a football fan, so superbowl food is never a problem, but sugar, now that's an ongoing problem...

I am ready for sleep and hoping that everyone has a good day tomorrow.

I hear you on the super bowl..I don'****ch it either. But housework is more exercise than I can muster some days..I just have to pick the days.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Sinus headaches are miserable! Maybe it takes your mind off your arm though! I had a lazy day to start with then got busy and sm settling back into lazy now! Slept in until 8 then read the paper after breakfast. Did a few things around the house and lost track of time so missed church! Went to the Y and ran 3.5 on the TM plus walked a mile plus then did an hour of Zumba. Came home and made dinner a Hungry Girl recipe ;easy and delicious! Need to put laundry away and pack lunches. we are watching Enchanted on the Disney Channel; it is so cute!
0900-scrambled eggs w cheese, veggie sausage, salsa, 1/2 bagel tin w lite buttrt and sf jelly
1100-2 sugar cookies
1330-pack of peanutbutter cookies from my disaster kit in the car; forgot to eat before going to the Y
1700-apple, small tootsie roll and 6 junior mints
1800-1 slice pepperoni pizza (DD dinner) while I was making my dinner
1900-HG recipe buffalo chicken on a lc tortilla and mixed lettuce and a banana
Later will probably be a skinny cow
All my water and such and two hours of exercise. I hope this put me on a good start for the week; last week was lacking in effort.

I've got the springtime blahs, I figure..not warm enough to really do much in the yard and no money to go somewhere exciting..poo..I think the problem is in my reading glasses..bifocals. tilting my head to see through them and that's translating to a headache (neck and shoulders too).

But you're doing really good..You really work it well with your exercise..I'm such a slacker..

Keepup the good work. see ya.
