I have a snack problem at night too..perhaps you need to cut the amounts down gradually or find a different item to snack on that's better..

I love flavored teas. My favorite is Stash Chocolate Hazelnut..and it feels like a dessert some nights..and then there are single serving microwave popcorn...like kettle corn..100 calories only..You just need to figure out what your trigger foods are that make you over do it and discover a compromise..

I know. Easier said than done but you can do it..You're strong..You've come this far.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

A small amount of bounce-back weight gain is to be expected.  You lose all the weight and then bounce back 10-15 pounds and that is your actual final weight.

I would be really careful with the snacking.  I lost focus for a while and was grazing by eating a little bit here and there between meals and after dinner.  I wasn't keeping track and manage to gain a significant chunk of weight back.  Now that I am back to four meals a day with nothing in between, the weight is falling off.  Snacking is my downfall and keeping it to those four meals a day is the only way I can keep my weight down.

It will help to record everything you eat for a week and enter it into the nutritional program here on obesityhelp.com.  It will give you some excellent feedback regarding your overall nutritional picture.

Hang in there and don't be hard on yourself.  You are doing great.

Weight loss surgery has saved my life and I would recommend it to anyone who has the strength to dedicate themselves to the challenging WLS lifestyle.  This is not the "easy way out."  It's the hardest way out.  "Easy" would have been to do nothing.
