Accountability - Saturday
I had a great day! Shopping this morning after a nice cheese omelet..and then home to do house work. Four loads of laundry and all the vacuuming and cleaned bathrooms and kitty litter boxes..and baked chicken leg quarters.
Coffee and a double espresso
Breakfast:4 or 5 egg omelet (they call it six eggs but I don't think so, I think it's four but counted it as 5..) and sliced tomatoes. I gave the biscuits and gravy to dear hubby..
one container of water while shopping
Lunch: shrimp from left over and ****tail sauce
another double espresso with soy milk
and another double espresso with soy milk
For dinner: oven roasted chicken leg meat..no skin but baked with the skin so that it's moist. and some mashed potatoes from dry mix and some margarine (about a half tablespoon).
I figure for dessert, a half a baked (microwaved) apple and a sugar free short bread cookie..
Yum.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1496
Fat: 91.4
Carbs: 71.3
Protein: 99.8
Well, I could have done alot worse. Granted the fat number and percentage (55%) is a bit high, I still didn't do so bad..and while the family (the boys) were watching a marathon of car nut shows, I got stuff done around the house. I'm actually pretty tired and sore..

Much better..At Church today they talked about stressful situations. I believe that we're put into stressful situations by God. Of course He knows where we are, He placed us there and He'll be with us there..He has us there for a reason. It's not always apparent to us, at the time, the reasons but there are reasons..

Not too bad today I need to start using the health tracker so that I have percentages and calories. Ive been trying to eat more dense proteins instead of all shakes.
9 am- 1 low carb pancake w/ tiny bit of light syrup
10 am - tea
2pm- organic burrito (21 g protein)
4pm - tiny sliver of key lime pie
6:30pm - chicken breast and 1/8 cup coleslaw and biscut
9:30pm- 1/2 c. hummus with a few pita chips (probably not so great)
water, diet iced tea and all my vitamins.

Have you ever tried putting protein in your pancakes? an egg and some cottage cheese. I was into putting protein shake mix into my oatmeal but after looking at the labels on alot of protein shake mix, I found that the carb number is nearly always the same as the protein number..until I found CarbThin..it's heavenly..that's the only way I can eat pancakes or the carbs just drive me out of my mind (and my husband out of the room....smelly).
I'm thinking of trying oatmeal again with the CarbThin..

Hi dawn. I don't know if you'll remember me, but I posted several times here a few months back under my old account yalg22. I was having major binging problems around my first year mark and had gained a bit. You advised me to get a health coach and get councling.
In case there is a tiny chance that you remember me, I just wanted to come by here and let you know that I turned out OK and got to my goal weight. I lost about 260 pounds. Thanks for your support.

Congratulations! I'm glad it turned out alright. I know after we're out a year, it gets harder than we ever planned.. I know I wasn't ready for maintenance..whatever that means! I still have trouble with that whole idea.
I know there are alot of people out there who struggle and I do my best to be supporting to everyone in their particular corner..You would do well to support others. It's like counselors who get counsel..

Fell off the boat, wearing no life vest, missed jumping into the life boat..too far away from the life preserver to reach out...finally grabed ahold of the last mileage bouy before being swept out to sea...thank goodness I'm back on dry land...whewww...what a fall out! LOL but I do have to admit, the chocolate sure tasted good!
Sunday is already starting out great...so will wait until Sunday nite to report to the galley for peeling spuds for dinner ;-)

Oh...wow..I thought you meant for real and now I see that you meant figuratively..
I have some sugar free chocolate covered peanuts that I keep up in a cupboard where I can't see them. They don't call to me often but when they do, at least they're sugar free and have peanuts..alittle protein so I don't feel like I have lost my life vest..
It's valentines so alittle chocolate is to be expected..and planned if you can..so if you control yourself all day long, sure! Go ahead and have some..that's what I plan to do! I bought some cocoa tea and made myself a cup of it just now...sadly, it smells nothing like chocolate..oh well, I'll try again to find a tea that feels as guilty as chocolate..

LOL..no, haven't been out to sea yet...just went thru an emotional situation Friday and hit the Reisen chocolate bag followed up by Ruffles w/dip :-( Sad thing, I had sugar free cookies and sugar free candy in the house...warped thinking...wanted to save those for later! Don't ask me....sounds really dumb now LOL But be sure to read Sunday! I'm back..on track and being strong ;-)
