I'm BACK!
Looking over my list for today, I was in love with carbs...and it all started with the chinese food this morning! Serves me right. It didn't bother me enough either..My carb number is HIGH and protein number real low...but tomorrow is a better day..
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 large green apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:30 am double espresso with 1/2 cup plain soy milk frothed
7:00 am 24 oz Herb Tea, Iipton Vanilla Caramel Chai
8:30 am 1 oz jack cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat, 1 chinese pot sticker, 1 cup rice noodles (for Chinese New Year)
9:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
11:00 am 1 medium pear, raw
12:00 am 12 oz decaf with half n half
12:50 pm 1 Banquet Cheesy Patty, 1/2 cup canned spinach, 1/2 cup canned peas
2:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
3:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated
4:15 pm 8 wheat thin crackers and peanut butter (ouch!)
4:45 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GW Strawberry
6:00 pm 1.5 cups popcorn shrimp with ****tail sauce and tartar sauce..that completes my Chinese New Years eating! I sort of wish I hadn't had the popcorn shrimp..I was doing sort of okay until I ran out of run way with the carbs..yuck. now I feel yucky..

Fat: 90.3
Carbs: 183.0 (YIKES)
Protein: 108.4
Yup, you guessed it...probably as close to a fail as I can get but because I started the day with all those stinkin carbs from Chinese New Years...I kept stuffing them in my mouth and now I'm feeling yucky..I think some nice warm tea and I'm going to bed. I've been naughty and think I need a time out..

Glad your arm is feeling better! Luckily I do not care for Chinese food, but certainly like many other ethnic foods!

all my water and such. I had 4 cups of peppermint tea today; it was cold out today, but not 20 degrees! The rain is back so it will warm up a bit now.
I have nothing to complain about weather wise compared to half of our Nation!

I love ethnic foods..or better yet, ancestor foods. I've been thinking about my great grandmother lately and have the strange urge to attempt to make an angel food cake from scratch..I know...weird..first I need to find about a dozen people who will eat it for me.

I can't blame Chinese New Years for my day. I didn't know it was Chinese New Years.. but day after day I suddenly kick into eating gear and it feels like a wild card until I reach the point where I can bring it down. Well, I really am trying to do better. It could still happen.
Today:
8am egg, cheese, and english muffin
9am protien drink and dried pinapple
noon decaf coffee and protein bar
1pm decaf coffee and custard
3pm pistachios
4pm custard
6pm pasta and beef casserole and a selection of "treats", some SF, some not...
9pm a mini York peppermint patty

Still, you did good with that low calorie number and pretty decent protein number..I don't really need an excuse to eat more carbs but when my co-worker brought in noodles...lol..I generally say no to that stuff cuz I don't know how I'm gonna react and may have to go home but I was feeling alittle mean...so what if I have to go home? LOL..it would mean a long weekend and that isnt' always a bad thing..

Funny thing is that after the carb fest I had yesterday the scale was DOWN a full pound this morning..I cant' figure it out but maybe the scale fairies needed to give me a smile..

Oh crap! I can only blame myself for my horrible day. It actually started okay and just ended bad.

I'm sorry to hear your day went downhill on you :-( I've had those days that in spite of my best intentions, it just goes south and it doesn't take much to make the turn. Don't beat yourself up! Tomorrow is a clean slate and you have new choices to make...I know you'll make good ones! You've done such a great job with your tool...I'm confident you'll find your way to go forward ;-)

I can't see where the carbs started..maybe the muffin but you can get it dialed in..I would bet on a better day friday..I get nervous around a bowl of tostitos..they are such a magnet for me..ouch! We had a party here at work once and I sat right by the bowl and ate about 1/3 of a bag...scared me so bad that I RAN, didn't walk, back to my desk and hid till the party was over..at least I stopped when I did..I might have finished the whole stinkin bowl!
