Accountability Tuesday!
Hi everyone! I did so much better today, that I couldn't wait to post! I sure hope Dawn is okay. I didn't she a post from her at all for yesterday and the last thing I read she was in pain. I'm thinking about you Dawn.
It has been so crazy for me with the move and all and I am so happy with today. It makes me feel like I'm gettin' back in the groove..

9am cottage and applesauce
10am protein drink and dried pinapple
11am tea with milk
noon one of my homemade burritos, yummy..
2pm decaf coffee
3pm fresh baked custard
5pm another burrito
6pm another piece of custard

protein: 80 grams
lots and lots of fluids and all of my vitamins

Awesome! You did awesome..congrats..I was in pain yesterday but I am better today. I figured I would give the pain meds a try this morning at work. Other than being alittle loopy, it's not all that mind altering..helps the pain alittle..

Didn't believe it was a wise move to drive to Starbucks and have my alone time with the computer and a tall decaf so I stayed at work and sat at my desk where I could come down from the pain meds without driving. LOL..It wasn't that bad but I thought it best not to drive.
1:15 pm 4.25 oz chicken breast in 2 servings tomato soup
2:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated - figured the caffeine would help with the loopy feeling the pain meds were giving me..just sort of a back ground loopy feeling by now..totally manageable!
3:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
6:00 pm dinner: Banquet Cheesy Patties (1) on a sandwich thin. I put the cheesy stuff on 1/2 cup mashed potatoes (made with milk only) and put a about an ounce of canned spinach on that sandwich..yum!

I've been taking an ice water container with me to bed and drinking nearly the whole thing (24 oz) during the night. It seems to help with the hot flashes somewhat..I just thought I'd pass that along..of course, the bathroom is a real urgency come morning but anything that helps the stupid hot flashes is good by my book!
So I had a good day too...of course! We rock..

not enough water and need my calcium still. I ate the PBJ thinking I was going for a run after work, but did not. I think I was dumping or having a low blood sugar crash from the PBJ.
I frequently have a PBJ before a run in the late afternoon and have never had this reaction. I was shaky, hot, sleepy and just miserable feeling. I had a diet 7 up and turkey jerky and felt better but missed my opportunity to run. We had sunshine today, it was beautiful but cold!

Congrats Leila on getting back into control...I sure know having some control makes me feel stronger and more motivated for the next day. I did good until I added an extra snack tonight..but % stayed good so I'm not sweating over it.

Someone needs to pimp slap me. Seriously. I have a pattern. Low calories during the day, lose my damn mind at night. The low calories during the day is mostly a function of being at work. When I am engaged, food flies out of my mind. So maybe I need a nighttime hobby? Dunno.
Anyway, here goes. Being BRUTALLY honest here:
1. Cinnamon bun protein oatmeal
2. Tuna w/ buffalo sauce on a lightly salted rice cake and some steamed broccoli
3. Hot Click with creamer
4. Four of my daughters potato wedges from Royal Farm (this is the descent into carb hell)
5. A few Doritos at their Girl Scouts meeting + a handful of Cheetos + 1 Cutie Clementine (the Clementine actually filled me up and stopped my Dorito/Cheeto nosh)
6. Four homemade high fiber chicken nuggets + ½ c. homemade low-fat creamy broccoli soup.
I did manage to get my minimum of water (but I usually shoot for more than that). Got all my calcium but again neglected my iron. Did no workout. Boo.

S- 1 scoop cho protein powder- after shoveling.
1/2 c. 2 % milk

2 oz boiled potato
1/3 c. cooked carrots- fresh
S- 4:15pm 1 string cheese
D- 1/4 of taco salad from fox's pizza den so i have 3 servings left. taco sauce too hot.
s- about 2 c. popcorn
s- bad bad. few had full of milk cho chips maybe 1/2 c.??

4 c. cold tea with ice
1 c. hot tea
5 cups coffee
