I have had a lazy Saturday! I slept in and missed my group run and did not go out on my own like I should have; oh well I will run tomorrow. Dropped off DD at her acting and singing lessons, stopped at the mall to use my two $10 gift cards. Played Yahtzee and Scrabble with DD. I am tired and looking forward to bed! I think we will crawl into bed and watch Secretariat around 8.

Well, it's feast or famine LOL Got busy running errands and just didn't make it back home for lunch and right now I'm cooking a late dinner. The wonderful thing is I'm not really hungry but now know it is not wize to for-go eating. That dreadful low sugar is enough of a reason to get some protein down at least. ;-) I'm learning!!
B 2soft boiled eggs with 1sl sour dough french bread
S 2 turkey bacon w/1 sl med cheddar cheese
L...missed
afternoon snack/late lunch? Slim Fast chocolate shake
D 4oz Ahi Tuna steak w/lemon juice, 1/4c mixed veggie..3 olives
S Apple w/2 tbs PB
Cal 1092, Fat 54.6 Carb 61.8 Protein 83.4
all vitamins and most of the water in so far...will keep drinking after dinner..probably another 20oz Sobe flavored water
need more protein...maybe a yogurt as late nite but will wait and see. Otherwise, a Great day!! I feel so much better mentally..like I have control once again LOL ^_^
See ya tomorrow...hope the meds helped the elbow! Any adverse reaction..sure hope not.

Hello everyone! Guess who's finally coming up for air? I found my food log yesterday while unpacking and realized it's been two weeks since I used it or posted! It feels more like a year...
Our move actually went about as good as it could, considering my husband and I are two aging people who just moved half way across the continent. Our new home is all that we had hoped for and we are beginning to settle in. I'm far, far behind with this semester's classes which began the weekend we drove west. But I can see light at the end of the tunnel. My husband and I are exhausted and so both of us have attempted to eat anything we could reach.
So tonight I write to through an overfeed haze...but I am so happy to see your news and reconnect with you. I have missed you much.
Today's unstoppable line-up...
8am bread, cheese, and sauce (you guessed it..english muffin pizza for breakfast..)
9am protein drink, decaf coffee and dried pinapple
10am two nutty buddys and more coffee
1pm 1/2 quesadilla
2pm sugar free gummy thingy
3pm english muffin with butter and an ice cream sandwich (oh my, I pray these days will pass.. soon...)
4pm pistachios (telling myself it was a better thing to eat..) and just to be sure I was 'taking control of my day', 8oz of V8 juice
5pm another nutty buddy (the juice didn't work..)
6pm 1/2 cup of some kind of pasta casserole a friend made for us.
Today's totals:
calories: 1755 (I am confident that this is too low and that I have forgotten some of the things I ate..)
protein: 71 grams (although the ice cream sandwich did contain 2 grams of protein, I don't really recommend it as a good food choice.)
enough fluid (let's see if that helps the 'travel constipation') and all vitamins
Again, I am very happy to be 'back' and hoping tomorrow is a calmer day.
Your WLS friend.
