this is my first week to these boards and I have found so much information and tons of motivation. I am 8.5 years post op(RNY). My weight has went up and down thru the years. this past year I regained 36 lbs. I found the info on here about the 5dpt, today is day 4 for me. the first three days have been fairly easy as I was at work and busy. Today , I'm off work and a little more challenged but determined to stick to the plan. I really do feel better already . hopeful. I've lost 4 lbs and gained a renewed sense of committment and control. I'm noticing that pyhsically I don't feel hungry and the head hunger is less frequent. I just need to get thru this 3 day weekend without blowing it. Wish me luck.

Good luck!  I just finished my 5th day and plan to start it again on Monday.  I gained about 40 lbs this year and think I will end up with 10 lbs of weight loss from this routine.

Welcome back.

Weight loss surgery has saved my life and I would recommend it to anyone who has the strength to dedicate themselves to the challenging WLS lifestyle.  This is not the "easy way out."  It's the hardest way out.  "Easy" would have been to do nothing.

I did well yesterday and today. I am thinking about doing it all over again as well. starting tomorrow. today has been day 5. I have kept real busy this weekend which is a testament in itself. Usually the weekend comes and I am so drained from the week that I do just what I have to. I am really feeling so much better. Thanks ya'll
