We had a birthday celebration today so I didn't get my computer Starbucks time..Surprisingly, I'm not cranky because of it! LOL..Too busy to be cranky, I guess! I have been getting emails from the Cooking Channel's newest host, Hungry Girl. She's a post Weigh****chers person who has logical healthier substitutes for some of our more sinful foods..I'm hooked! Today I got an email with the healthier version of the McCafe Iced Caramel Frappacino. Only 158 calories!~ ..Can hardly wait till the weather gets warmer so I can try it!
 
My eats for Tuesday:
 
5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 microwaved apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
 
6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
 
6:45 am double espresso, 1/2 cup frothed plain soy milk
 
7:00 am 24 oz Lipton Tea, Passion Fruit/Strawberry
 
8:20 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
 
9:00 am 12 oz Lipton Tea
 
9:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, cold water, no ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
 
10:45 am 1 medium pear raw
 
12:15 pm taco salad for our birthday celebration..lettuce, tomato, corn, olives, beef, chicken, salsa, sour cream, 6 tortilla chips, shredded cheese
 
1:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, GV Strawberry
 
2:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix w/o ice, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated
 
3:15 pm 1 hard boiled egg
 
4:30 pm 24 oz herb tea, Chamomile
 
6:00 pm 5.5 oz fried tilapia, 5 cooked broccoli flowerettes, 1/3 cup mashed potatoes..
 
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1425
Fat: 62.0
Carbs: 108.3
Protein: 120.5

Any day that ends in tilapia, is a good day around here..I sure love that stuff...I'm happy with this day..

Hi there...was wondering if you were gonna make in on to start the thread LOL  I didn't want to step on toes or assume it was ok to start the post, so I just waited for ya. Sure glad to see you! ;-)

Today has been remarkedly different from yesterday..almost the extreme opposite..not enough LOL

B  IDS protein shake w/ 1/4c raspberries
L  1/2c 2% cottage cheese
D  3oz steak, 1/2c yellow & green squash, 1oz corn kernals (corn didn't taste right so threw it away boo hoo), 1 6oz low cal yogurt (ohhhhh, am I stufft!)
S  apple w/2tbs PB

numbers I think:
883 calories   30.1g fat  77.5g carb  81.1protein

I might add another yogurt or maybe some cottage cheese just to get protein grams up but right now I'm too full from that steak to even look at another food. LOL

You go, Girl! If you just looked at your protein number you'd think,,Well, okay..but then look at that calorie number.. WOO HOO..you must have hit higher than 40% on that protein today..Get plenty of water!

And headed to the treadmill. You've got that tiger by the tail today..Woo Hoo (again...LOL).

oh yeah, and if you feel like you're waiting too long for me..just go ahead and post! I don't want you waiting when you could be treadmilling..heavens..LOL. It really doesn't matter who is doing the accountability..we all benefit so go for it..

I love Hungry Girl's recipes! I made the light baked cheese sticks for New Years.
I had an okay day. I got up early and did Boot Camp at the Y with DH. I am tired now and ready for bed! We just got home from our daughters Choral Festival. It was really nice.
0800-oatmeal w splenda
0900-boiled egg
1030-apple
1230-cod w panko crumbs and sweet potato
1400-string cheese apple, and part of a muscle milk light
1730-meatloaf baked potato, green beans
2030-kids scoop Gold Medal Ribbon
2100-100 cal english muffin, PB, and SF jelly
all my water and such; hump day tomorrow already!
