I'm actually having a pretty good day, for a Monday..Although, after lunch I felt hungry for no specific reason..It could be head hunger..I just really wanna park myself in front of my treat cabinet at home and scarf out on sugar free candy...what is up with that? I did have two pieces of sugar free gummybears and that held me off for a bit but the fear of the gas that I get when I eat those kept me from indulging too much..good thing for that..I don't even know what a serving size is on those..I gotta think 2 little gummybears can't be enough to mean much..

Well, it's Tuesday but I gotta start again with this accountabilty thing...

Hot Click at 3:30 a.m.

Pure Protein bar
Handful of SweetHearts (dang things!)
Lunch was two slices of beef bologna on an Arnold thin, a little milk
Cafe Mocha from Tim Hortons

Not sure about the numbers - gotta get back on FitDay and start keeping track. It's always more than I think it is, y'know?

I just found a recipe for iced mocha coffee like they have at McDonalds only a skinny version with only 150 calories. I'm sure I could protein it up and make it even better for me. I can't hardly wait for the weather to get warm so I can give it a try!

You're right about the numbers. I put my list together and think, wow...short list but then look at the totals and go OH NO...where'd that high number come from? LOL. But we keep trying. I love my sandwich thins..I bought a bunch of those heart candies for the girls at work but I figure if I have some, I'll have to go home due to the carb crash or the noxious gas it would cause so that keeps me away from them!

Congrats for getting back on the trail..keep up the good work..See ya!

I'm totally hooked on McDonald's sugar free vanilla lattes, and a large is only 110 calories, which is good. I have to make myself stop at one a day, though. I'm trying to learn to make it at home and I'm getting close, but they're still not quite as good. :-)

Ouch! Sounds really painful..But you did really well with it anyway. I'd have begged off due to a blister even in the best days..

I would have been a teacher but I don't deal with kids all that well! LOL..Now I teach adults and they irritate me too. So my teaching heritage didn't stop on my generation, I guess. Good for you. The world needs better teachers.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

NICE protein number but I'm mystified on the calories/carbs number..Again, the list looks way short for a number that big..But I'm not familiar with almond milk or slim fast either..I have a tree nut allergy, I'm afraid. bummer cuz tree nuts are so full of good stuff too.

Now the Murray sugar free cookies, I love those but they aren't a low cal food (at least the label tells us that..) I'm a slave for that sugar free stuff! Because it doesn't have the draw on me that sugar does..

In any case, you did really good. You'll have to promise to make up the time on the treadmill but you can do that..Tuesday is better..You get do-overs.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

I agree...the calories jumped wayyyyy up there and carbs also. :-(  I use Fitday.com to track...maybe when I clicked on 'recent foods', it added the total used the day before on the shakes...2 instead of 1...I'll have to look back at it. Almond milk actually has less calories (60) than soy (100) but protein is only 1 vs soy's 7.  Not sure yet if I like the taste, but I've got a full carton to finish off...I'll know for sure when its gone LOL  I bought the Slim Fast cus Sam's had it on sale...been buying GNC's Lean Shake protein drink...Slim Fast taste better but Lean Shake has more protein and less calories.

Yesterday I guess wasn't too bad after all...down a another pound this morning! Yehhhhhh.  But the treadmill will get a workout (or me) for sure.  Thanks for the feedback..it is greatly appreciated!!
