Accountability - Saturday
Not a bad day all in all. We left early this morning for shopping and got home about 1 pm. Lots of walking and lots of pushing heavy shopping carts..Then at home I did plenty of vacuuming, cleaning, laundry..I don't believe I sat around much..I might be lazy tomorrow but at least I got all that I needed to get done done today..
My eats Saturday:
2 cups of coffee
double espresso and 1/2 cup plain soy milk (I think I need to start measuring this better!)
Early breakfast: 1/4 serving protein waffles, no apples today..1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
24 oz drink mix with no ice but cold
Later Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 4 slices tomato, 1 slice rye toast without the crust
No lunch but another 24 oz drink mix, cold no ice
Snack: 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1/3 cup soy nuts, medium grapefruit raw
double espresso and 1/2 cup plain soy milk
Dinner: 1/2 a stuffed bell pepper, using extra lean (10%) beef, 1/3 cup left over turkey chili, 1/2 cup leftover green beans..and two cooked bell peppers and 2 oz cheddar cheese {this made two bell peppers and I ate 1/2 of one and a salad with ranch dressing
I'll probably have an ice water next to the bed. Last night I drank a whole 24 oz container during the night and refilled it about 2 am..drank half of that too! when I'm having hot flashes that ice water works really well to help me go back to sleep..

Carbs: 78.0
Protein: 89.8
I certainly missed that half of apple with that low carb number..I didn't try to go low carb today but it turned out that way. I still think I did alright..more water but that's covered tonight.

We just got home from Port Townsend. It is a darling town about 2 hours from the house. I started the day with a 5.5 mile run. It was nice running weather!

1630-salmon wrapped in lettuce french fries

1945-chicken meatballs, sweet potato and brocoli
Maybe a skinny cow before bed

I forgot my calcium citrate yesterday but I did take my calcium magnesium and zinc..and the glucosamin...for whatever that's worth! One day of missing that stuff makes me feel guilty but not much more than that..

just finished eating 3Tyson chicken tenders cooked in the microwave with 1tbs bbq sauce. Since it's the weekend with no interruptions cus of work, I decided to stick to fluids all day and just eat solid food for dinner. While percentages of fat, carb and protein have been in the range I want, the carb number is still out of control :-( So today I concentrated on a very low carb intake:
B protein shake w/water

20oz Sobe flavored water
S protein shake w/water
20oz Sobe flavored water
D 3 Tyson chicken tenders w/1 tbs bbq sauce
S going to try an Ambrosia apple w/pb...that really sounds good

981 cal 10.4g fat 54.3g carb 154g protein

You did awesome..I know when I stay busy, I hardly eat at all..I wore myself out yesterday and I fully intend to do as little as possible today but..things do need to get done...little naggy things.
2 miles in 34 minutes! You were going a good clip: 6 miles per hour..awesome..
I use whatever apples are on sale in my lists..My favorite thing is a microwaved sliced up apple with splenda brown sugar blend and a sugar free short bread cookie on top..yum..

Thanks Dawn for the support...it really helps to know I'm on track.
that TM just about did me in!! With the one I have, it's a toss up whether to go the distance or the time LOL But results were awesome!! DOWN 2.5LBS THIS MORNING!! I knew this old body had to give it up sometime! LOL
