Hello all... I am new to the Grad board.  I had my surgery in 08 and I did really well getting down to 160.  This last year however with tons of changes in my life I have gained.. and by gained I mean I am up ti 218 now.  I swore I wouldn't gain again and be this person, but.. I did.  I am working on getting back to the basics and that includes coming back to here.

I hope to meet and stay in touch with new friends and old ones
.

It really is how we cope with stress and changes in our lives, isn't it? I mean the surgery does one thing and one thing only: it makes it possible to lose the weight..after that, it's up to us to keep the weight off..and there are so many excuses and reasons for us to slip of the trail...

Here's to getting a new start in the New Year and keeping it next to your heart! Welcome!
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
