Accountability - Tuesday
Up early to get my sorry self to work on time..icy roads and needed gas! My co-worker had alittle time to reload my laptop but I still won't get it bac****il tomorrow and all my files are trashed..oh well, I figured as much..
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 medium apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
7:00 am 24 oz warm herb tea for the drive in. Half blueberry, half vanilla chai
8:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
11:00 am taco salad: 4 oz left over porterhouse steak and chicken, 1 cup lettuce, 2 slices tomato, 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 oz ranch dressing
12:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Lipton Peach Tea
12:30 pm 1 cup cherry tomatoes, 1/2 T ranch dressing
1:45 pm 1 small tangerine, 1 small orange
2:20 pm 24 oz Drink Mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
3:45 pm 1 hardboiled egg, 4 reduced fat wheat thin crackers (1/4 serving)
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix no ice, Power Edge, Strawberry Tangerine
6:00 pm 4 oz porterhouse steak, 1/2 cup refried bean dip(w/tomatoes, salsa and cheese), 1/2 small baked potato with butter buds.

Not bad at all. I got all of my water in, all of my vitamins in and was at least more active than I was at home..although, sitting in my chair at work made my backside ache.
I'm back to the schedule that makes it easy to stay on track and that's a good thing..while at my desk at work, I have no choice but to stay focused..and that's also a good thing..

I had a better day. I booked a mover, big relief and scheduled new phone service. I have a move out date of Jan.22 and move in date in Kansas City on the 25th. I am trying to get my internet service installed the same day as the mover is showing up.. it will probably be a miracle if everything actually comes together according to my detailed plan.. but, one hopes..
Today:
1pm poori, stir fry and dried pinapple (I may have a small stomach, but, it must be a strong one to start out the day with this line-up)
2pm protein drink (not my usual, only 15 grams..)
4pm 2/3 cup ziti
5pm soy chips
6pm dried pinapple
8pm 1/4 cup ziti
9pm one egg omelet with 1oz of cheese and a poori
10pm herbal tea and a third ring of dried pinapple
today's totals:
calories: 1245 (okay then, you know I have to keep this number down, no exercise...I am sooo impressed with Mary...)
protein: 52 grams (a little light...)
all of my fluids and vitamins
I had a lot of the ole' dried pinapple today, but NO cookies... I've decided to label this "success"

1/2 Low carb baking mix (like bisquick or CarbQuick)
1 package sugar free instant pudding mix
1 egg
This makes 12 cookies. I added a small handful of sugar free hershey chocolate chips...cuz that's my weakness. These are 30 calories and 1 gram of protein each.
I had two of them..and they were good..bumpy looking but good.
You did really good staying clear of the cookies! Great job.
Everyone I showed the tattoo to liked it and pretty much said it would be normal for me to have a tiny hermit crab tattoo...then the first question was "Did it hurt?" Yup..it did hurt. but it was quick.

here is what i had for tuesday... well our arnot baritrics is leaving us. tonight is the last support meeting. i know my bf wont go to the meeting with me.i asked my bf if i can go he said it sounds like a plan. we need dog food and stuff so we are going to go to the store after the meeting. plus go to olive garden. he got a gift card from my sister. what can i eat there?
B- 1.2 c. mozz cheese
1 slice split top wheat bread with pb
L- can of tuna fish
small amount of mayo
diced tomatoes
D- 1 1/2 c home made chili
1 corn muffin
S- little pkg of crackers with pb
2 full cinn graham crackers with maybe 2 T crunchy pb.
4 c coffee
2 cups hot tea
40 oz water..
Nice increase in fluids. LOVE homemade chili con carne..I usually do that with myleft over turkey!

i think so far i am doing good. i am trying . oh yeah i love homemade chili. it did taste really good.
am i doing ok with the carbs ? am i getting enough protein? i didnt have any protein shakes yesterday. still my weight is 166 pounds... yuck... i see where i gained... my belly is puffier now.
i need to get some exercise in. i was thinking about just tring to dance... move my body. i dont know how to dance. i will have to look up what i can do at home for some exercise.
The only way to measure the carbs and such is to do a daily journal like fitday or daily plate..and then you can see how much of what you're taking in..And when you see a high carb number, look at your list and see if there are white carbs or if it's natural carbs like you're chili or fruits and veggies..that's what I do..
Dancing is a GREAT thing to take up and it's FUN..I don't know that I could develope a *taste* for exercise for exercise sake..if you know what I mean. It's gonna have to be fun first of all and exercise by mistake, more or less. LOL. But that's just me. There are people out there who develop a love for marathon running..I don't happen to be one of them..

I had a long busy day yesterday! I worked all day and planned on a run at the Y and water aerobics. I did not put the gym bag in the car! I knew I forgot my lunch but did not realize i forgot my gymbag until I pulled up at the Y! I could not go home and get it because DD was already dropped off at the Y for her ballet class. I read a magazine and ate a bag of baked cheetos instead! Then DD tells me she needs a costume for her school play, so we went to the mall to look for something a choir teacher would wear. We did not get home until after 8 PM! Ate dinner put packed gym bag in car and went to bed! I ate like I was going to work out hard so calories were high 1800 and so were the carbs!
