Accountability - Monday
I'm having a horrible day! So y've been warned...this is venting for me..We got snow last night so I didn't have to go to work today..I wanted to show off the new tattoo...darn it..Then this afternoon I went to post pictures of the snow and the laptop was taking too long to start up so I shut it off...yeah, I know. I messed teh whole thing upand now it's back to just a black screen...has no idea what to do...so I'm desperate to get it fixed. I'll take it to work and beg the tech guys to maybe look at it..and if that doesn't work, Ill take it to Best Buy and get them to fix it..argh..I'm so addicted to the internet..I'm pathetic.
I need to get back to eating right and doing what I need to. I'm so cranky!
So now that I've whinned and complained about how stupid I am...here is what I ate:
Breakfast: 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 medium apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup.
not enough water at all. 1 container
Lunch: 3 oz chicken thigh meat, 2/3 cup cabbage cooked, 1/3 cup refried beans in dip..
not nearly enough water. 2 cups of herb tea
Dinner: 1/3 lb burger on a sandwich thin..with processed cheese food and mayo
I figure for dessert, if I can manage to do it without messing it up, a 1/2 baked apple with a sugar free short bread cookie and whipped toppiing.
Totals for the day:
Calories; 1370
Fat: 65.0
Carbs: 128.8
Protein: 85.0
I hate typing on this computer. I hate the smoke that is coming out of the fire place. I hate not being in the living room. I hate the program on television in the living room and I'm hating just about everythign right now..damn it..I need to get busy and do something..I think I'll go take a shower.

Believe it or not, your post made me feel better. I had just a numb day and when I added up what I ate I just wanted to tell a lie on my post so that it might not have happened...well, I guess bad days are part of the mix. Oh, by the way, that tattoo's not going anywhere but the snow can't last. You'll be showing it off and posting about your experience, on your laptop, before you know it...

7pm two slices of turkey breast and instant mashed potatoes (by now I thought I was going to explode)
8pm feeling a bit better, I went for some dried cheeries
10pm staggering up the stairs with my final treasure of the day, 1/2 gala apple and 1oz of gouda cheese

calories: a shocking 1910
protein: 85 grams
all of my fluids and vitamins
you know I just can't eat like this and never exercise and maintain my weight.. let's see how the world looks tomorrow..

LOL..I guess we're even then cuz your post made me feel better. You're right about the tattoo..hahah..It will be there for ever and the snow won't. I guess I was cranky about being stuck indoors again and the house can only get clean so much. LOL. I'll have a better day today.
You did pretty good. That protein number was high enough to cover the calorie number, for sure..Your carbs were probably pretty high but they were good carbs..two cookies. I don't know how many times just two cookies sent me over the edge! But you seemed to gather it up before the end of the day. You did good.

I ran almost three miles before work and did a step class after work- trying new classes.
I got all my water and vitamins in. I just got out of the shower and plan on going to bed early! DH is home so I came home to a clean house, dinner and dd homework done! They are upstairs now playing on the Wii.

Isn't it amazing how a good night sleep will turn a mood around? I feel much better. I probably should post a picture of the tattoo.I'll find one and post it.
200 carbs aren't bad when you are running and doing step class. AND playing on the wii. If you didn't have enough carbs, you'd fall on your face with all that stuff..You do so wonderful. I'm such a lazy slug! LOL...But I push a mean vacuum cleaner. When the weather is better and I'm back to work, I'll be doing better.

Your sugar is doing great..that's a good number, I think. I had a mishap earlier in my Christmas Vacation where I ate pineapple upside down cake and it caused my sugar to bottom out..I thought I was gonna black out..I was grabbing peanut butter and apple and a bunch of other things..I hate that feeling!
You're getting enough water. The coffee is probably a 10 oz cup (mine is 12, I measured it) so you'e getting 100 oz of water. Awesome..MOre than enough to guard your kidneys from the protein overload..and no white carbs..well, low white carbs..the mac n cheese have some, the potatoes have alittle..and you know the cookies do..but it's a process and you're doing fine..

i was kindof worried when the number was 71. but you said that was good.
i wasnt sure if i had enough water. right now i am on my second cup of coffee and my second bottle of water. my coffee cup is 9 oz. thats what it says on the bottom.i have a few cups of coffee when my bf comes home from work . my bf said 60 to 80 proteins a day is too much and i will gain if i dont exercise. i need to figure out what i can do around the house to exercise. it is too cold to walk here. maybe some crunches or just move.. i dont think he knows it all. i am running out of protein foods. i cant wait for grocery day. hee hee... well today will be my second day.. i hope everything will be good. i like to find something i can make , something with protein for a snack. well thats it for now, anita
