Accountability - New Years Day!
What a lazy day this was..We didn'****ch the new year come in but managed to watch it happen in New York City, at least. No toasting or anything but I did have a wine cooler. I hate a buffet type dinner party cuz I don't keep track and can't really keep track..I just let it go and figure I can start up again today. And that thought is pretty fitting for a New Year's Day..starting over.
So for my first day of 2011, this is how it stacked up:
Breakfast: 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 small apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
24 oz drink mix, Wyler's Peach Tea
2nd breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices rye toast crust removed, 2 slices tomato
24 oz drink mix, GV Strawberry
Lunch: 2 small fried chicken drumsticks (from KFC from Thursday night), 3/4 oz pepper jack cheese and spinach dip (left over from the dinner party last night).
12 oz vanilla herb tea
12 oz coffee: double espresso with 4 oz plain soy milk steamed
12 oz vanilla herb tea
Dinner: 1 cup crock pot cabbage dish (like red cabbage from the movie Christmas Story) and our traditional meal: 1 cup hamhocks and beans. This dinner represents where we were years ago, with less to eat and less in our pocket..it reminds us of how far we've come..
So, my numbers for the day? I could get some more in before bed. I may just have a baked apple and a sugar cookie. I'll include that in the numbers in any case.

Carbs: 124.9
Protein: 83.5
I could do better on the protein but I think I'm okay with that.

Well, this has certainly been an interesting day. I can not believe how much I managed to eat in a 12 hours period... Just trying to wrap up the old and bring in the new.. I'm already looking forward to tomorrow.
For today:
noon I started with my cottage cheese, applesauce, protein drink and dried pinapple
3pm now I moved into poached perch, (it was an experiment, not entirely successful, but I ate it) and pita pizza
5pm decaf coffee and a 1 oz chocolate
7pm at a friends house, (this is where it started to come apart) lovely little place of leftovers, followed by a slow graze on chocolate covered raisins and peanuts.
9pm back home and eating again, this time an apple
10pm still eating, finished the scrap of carrot cake my husband left me (I guess he didn't want to be the one to fini****)
midnight (why did I stay downstairs??) another ring of dried pinapple. I feel like I'm going to burst...
Today's totals you ask??
calories: at least 1800, maybe more..
protein: 80 grams
lots and lots of fluids and all vitamins
I really think tomorrow should be a 'rest' day...
