That is so cool that you are picking up the slack with this post..I had a really long day!

You did awesome! I have to say that I kept track of all my intake before the big party at my brother's house and I ate that much BEFORE straping on the feed bag over there!

I ate this:

protein waffles with apple and sf syrup (and coffee)

cheese omelet with home fries and ketchup - grilled onions and peppers..

Lunch? We'd gotten boneless porkchops for *dinner* but then realized that dinner was at the party so we had them for a late lunch..pork chops and salad with ranch dressing..

Snacks: 1/4 cup soy nuts, 1/4 cup honey roasted peanuts (yup, I bought them yesterday..I'm totally in trouble!)

and before we left for the party I had 4 containers of water and took the last one with me..My totals at this point were

Protein: 1291
Fat: 78.9
Carbs: 88.3
Protein: 73.9

And at the party I had 6 large shrimp with ****tail sauce, 1 slice of roast beef with a slice of provolone cheese..a deviled egg..but before that I had a Corona beer..

So you can tell, I probably had well over 1800 calories. We had an awesome time at my brother and sister-in-law's house for the party and on the way home we checked the mail box and found a DVD that my husband's cousin sent us..it was 2 of his very old Super 8 movies of his family (some scenes as old as 65 years!) put on DVD...So we were up till 10:30 watching that twice and I had a single serving of kettle corn while watching that..

I think this year will be the first year that I'll be tempted to losing control over my resolve. I'm gonna have to keep after myself and step on that scale each day to be sure I catch the fall when it first happens..

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
