Everyone at work is sick now..coughing and sneezing..I sure don't wanna come back down with it!

9:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
10:15 am 2 cups turkey noodle soup (homemade - the last of it)
11:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated
12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half
1:00 pm 1/2 can tuna, 1 cup salad greens, 1 T Lite Thousand Island Dressing
1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry
2:20 pm 1/4 large apple
3:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wyler's Peach Tea
3:45 pm 1 hardboiled egg
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange
Dinner tonight: T-Bone Steak (4 oz), mashed potatoes (1/2 cup), canned green beans (1/2 cup)
Dessert: 1/2 cup NSA Blue Bunny Ice Cream, 1/4 cup honey roasted peanuts

Now if I can stick to this list and get rid of those darn hr peanuts...I'll be doing okay.

Sometimes I want something and I look at my list for the day and think of how many calories it will be and I just know it will take me right thru the roof... That's when I start the dialogue with myself. "You shouldn't eat it!" "But I want it!" "It will take your calories too high!" "What if I don't write it down? Nobody is here with me. Who will know?" (This is the point where it all starts to focus in for me...) "You will know. And you are the one who will lose what you have found. You can't hide from yourself!"
So, if I do eat it.. I write it down and count it up..and then reflect on the expression "empty calories"... Accountability is a very good thing.
today:
11am cottage cheese and fried zucchini
noon dried pinapple
1pm protein shake
2pm cashews (1/4 cup)
3pm kale (what was that?? another vegatable?? wow!!)
3pm a piece of brownie (it's still me.. stuggling..)
6pm haddock filet and more kale!!
8pm dried cherries
9pm the other piece of haddock
11pm a lifesaver mint (now I just bet that this is avialable in sugar free..)

calories: 1435
protein: 81 grams
all of my fluids and vitamins (except the ones I'm low on and need to reorder!)

0900-egg beater veggie scramble with veggies, white cheese and a slice of bacon
1100-banana
1300-1/2 PBJ on wheat, half of my salad I brought. It tasted kind of funny; it was from Papa Murphy's last night
1500-half an apple, carb master yogurt and 1/2 serving Go Lean Crunch
1830-fried egg, veggie sausage on a bagel thin
2000-1 heaping teaspoon of choc chip cookie dough
I am brewing some peppermint tea and will head to bed soon. I missed my run because I left my shoes at home! I did go for a nice walk at lunch time with a friend. Not much but better than nothing. Not enough water but all my vits and such.
