Accountability - Monday

Not the Same Dawn
on 12/6/10 8:28 am - BEE EFF EEE, CA

The internet was working this morning and I did some things on line but I'm not able to count on it for sure in the evening so I'm posting this before I go home to have dinner..If the internet is actually out then we'll be busy addressing Christmas Cards. It seems to me that so much more gets accomplished while I can't get on the internet but I'm in denial on that in the real world.

5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

12:00 am 12 oz Decaf coffee w/half n half creamer

3:30 pm 1 hard boiled egg

4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Crystal Light Hydrating Berry

4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lipton Peach Tea

6:00 pm left over spaghetti (regular noodles) and meat sauce..from my dad's house..I figure 1.5 cups total

Possible dessert:

1/2 a small apple with a sugar free short bread cookie (this time for SURE cuz I don't have any pumpkin pie left..and no popcorn either..I want something sweet, I think).

Totals for the day as it sits above:

Calories: 1591
Fat: 68.2
Carbs: 144.3
Protein: 112.1

Really not bad if I can stick with just that. I'm hoping the spaghetti doesn't send me off track too bad..I can always just have some more water..if I have that much will power!

How did you do? Stay busy..it really does help.

Still working on water, but got all my vits and such. No exercise but will run on treadmill Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have my breakfast, lunch, and snacks packed for tomorrow and my gym bag. I did not sleep well last night; hope tonight is better!

P.S-regarding cookies. I agree with Dawn about sugar being crack to me. I can do okay with one a day, then it is two a day and so forth. I am suddenly back to munching cookies. The sugar free ones help when I am off the "crack" it is a continual process for me. Some people can just have one serving a day and do just fine.

I've usually got them mailed by the day after Thanksgiving but I'm blaming it on our printer at home...it wouldn't do the photos on the newsletter..and that's the main reason for sending the letter at all!

I never feel quite myself when I ddon't get a good night sleep...and when I was at my dad's it was horrible..the sounds were different and it just wasn't the familiar place I sleep!

I'm doing better now..hopefully..

You did good. Great on the planning..I think that's probably the MOST important thing..thinking ahead!

Keep up the good work..See ya.

I want to thank both of you, Dawn and Mary, for your advice on the ...cookies...
My eating today really made the case for all that you said.. This is going to really be a challenge for me.

today:
11am cottage cheese and applesauce
noon-6pm.. guests came and I estimate that I ate 6 of those darn cookies, what wasted calories..
2pm small lasagna
3pm dried pinapple
4pm greek yougurt and soy chips (trying to resist cookies)
7pm lettuce salad with cheese and decaf coffee

today's totals:
calories: 1595 to maybe 1800??? (just how much cookie damage is uncertain)
protein: 61 grams

all fluids and vitamins

have a good day

Cookie damage can get really out of hand! I know sugar free short bread cookies are 140 calories EACH! Not a low calorie food, for SURE..

Really, if you can resist the cookies at all, you'll do better when they're gone cuz they'll be gone..If that makes any sense at all.

Keep up the good work...See ya.
