Accountability - Sunday (still not well!)

Along with dear hubby being sick and the internet being out (and all of us being crabby over it) it's going to be a long week. They tell us the internet won't be faster until FRIDAY...that makes all of us cranky. On a lighter note, I wrapped much of the christmast stuff for under our tree and all the gifts for the girls at work. I found an awesome deal on closeout Christmas ornaments from Dayspring this year on line..and some special teapots for my bosses..So at least something went well.

This is my list to the best of my knowledge. I'm outside my neighbor's house using his internet, with his blessing, of course..so the only thing I don't really know for sure is dinner and dessert but we do have a plan..

Eats for Sunday:

Breakfast: 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/4 large apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup

2 containers of water with flavor packets in it, 24 oz each

Lunch: 4 oz turkey breast (or chicken breast, I'm confused!) on a bed of salad with zesty italian dressing

Snack: 1/4 cup honey roasted peanuts

Snack: 1 oz Cheddar Cheese

Snack: 1 large pear

24 oz Drink Mix, GV STrawberry

24 oz Drink Mix, Wyler's Peach Tea'

Dinner: 2 pc Banquet Chicken Marinara..1 cup salad with zesty italian dressing and 1/2 cup mashed potatoes with butter buds

Dessert: Baked 1/4 large apple with a sf shortbread cookie

Totals:

Calories: 1677
Fat: 81.1
Carbs: 155.2
Protein: 101.0

I think I may come back to the neighbor's yard alittle later if it's not too cold and sit with another bottle of water and look at my email and facebook. We'll see. Being without internet is more stressful than it should be for me, I guess.

How did you do?

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

You're right...having no internet access has made it possible to get things done. Dear Hubby is getting hit the hardest..He cant' really go out and work in the garage cuz it's too damp and cold so he would do better to surf the internet all day..I'd much rather he did that..

Looks like you did good. I should have done the kettle corn last night..everything made me more hungry than I should have been..

Your doing great..Keep up the good work. See ya.

This was just a difficult day for me. Lots of deadlines. I'm trying to just get to bed. I have guests coming from out-of-state tomorrow. The daughter requested chocolate chip cookies, so I made a batch. I think I am not realistic about this whole thing with sweets. I don't know if it is a good thing if I can limit it to 3 cookies, or if I should just avoid these desserts at any cost.. What do you think, not-the-same-dawn and morgansmommy???

today:
8am cottage cheese and applesauce
1pm 3/4 cup cheese lasagna and lettuce and cheese salad
5pm 3/4 cup cheese lasagna
6pm protein drink
7pm decaf coffee and the last pumpkin muffin
8pm 3 chocolate chip cookies

Today's totals:
calories: 1500
protein: 82 grams

still light on fluids, but ok, and all vitamins

hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.

For me, sugar is like crack. I can't say no once I've said yes to a cookie or two..and chocolate chip cookies have the worst pull on me..DH and DS love those things and hubby would make a whole batch. I had to stop that right away! So I bought the refrigerator cookies that you break off one or two and bake those. Seriously, if there is one or two cookies sitting around, they're in danger of putting me right off track. It's funny what things are a draw for me. The honey roasted peanuts, if they're sitting on the counter, are impossible to resist..so they sit in the cupboard where they can't seem to call to me. It's weird..but we're all different.

People always are telling me that alittle bit won't hurt but if you're as addicted to the sweets as bad as an alcoholic, then you would be good to say no to it completely. No one...and I mean NO ONE offers a drink to an alcoholic and tells them that "just a little drink won't hurt." They stay away from it completely..

I ate the last of the pumpkin pie last night rather than the baked apple and it wasn't that good. So I felt cheated and so ate some more honey roasted peanuts..not good.

Looks like your day was good other wise..Keep up the good work! See ya.
