Sometimes it helps me to post some good news.  I accept this as a blessing from God.  This blessing comes through the support you all give me on several Forums in OH.  It also comes with my wife's cooperation.  It's been hard at times getting her to understand that I can have whole wheat or rye bread (they don't do anything to me) but that white bread or refined white pasta is basically like an alcoholic taking a drink.  The addiction kicks in immediately.  This is the first time I have been clean for a week since mid May 2009.

I can TOTALLY understand your addiction and GOOD for you that you made it!!! As any other addict would say "One day at a time" and I do believe in blessings from God...So AMEN to all of the above!!!

YOU can do this...Hang in there

Gods Blessings to you

As I've mentioned in posts on other forums, when temptations come, I work the program an hour at a time.  I can usually delay the urge to eat for part of an hour and then for an hour or more.  Some of these techniques are discussed in Dr Judith Beck's book, The Beck Diet Solution Weight Loss Workbook.  I mention it here for others who may read this thread.  Bob
