MIssing Accountability Monday
Missing the daily post "Accountability". I hope you're back online soon and that all is well.
Today was a better day for me. I was sooo tired of eating after the last week. Most of the leftovers are gone. I feel better already!
today:
11am leftovers (I did say 'almost gone')
11:30pm protein drink
2pm protein bar
4pm mac & cheese, coleslaw, dried pinapple ring
5pm decaf coffee
6pm another decaf coffee
7:30pm the last roll...
9pm homemade turkey noodle soup
9:30pm second bowl of the soup
today's totals:
calories: 1270 (now that's an improvement!)
protein: 67 grams
great fluids today and all vitamins
It was interesting. I had the same number of lines filled in on my food diary as yesterday, but today was 360 calories less and 19 grams of protein more! What a difference a choice makes!

Yeah, I'm fine. The neighbor who had their unsecurity internet wi-fi on at my dad's house turned it off briefly so I watched Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Bones...all of which I never watch at home. It just seems so....old. LOL. I know, I better watch myself!
So my first night and morning on Daddy Watch was alright. I don't remember the rythme of living at my dad's house so I'm a bit lost..what got me completely lost was that he didn't make coffee! Gosh I miss my dear hubby! And the coffee pot appears unused so I didn't want to use it for fear it would tempt him to have coffee if he doesn't drink it..LOL. At 52 years of age, I'm still scared to tick off my step mom!
My eats for Monday:
5:00 am cup of lipton brewed tea with splenda..the cups are too small...I may have to bring my own cup from work!
5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, no apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:30 am cup of lipton brewed tea with splenda
7:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange
8:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
9:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese with 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
10:15 am 1-1/2 5 oz burger patty on a salad of lettuce and tomato with olive oil dressing
11:45 am 12 oz coffee w/half n half and splenda
1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wyler's Peach Tea
2:00 pm 1 medium orange, raw
3:00 pm 1/4 large apple, raw
3:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange
5:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, GV strawberry
6:00 pm 1 chicken thigh, baked and 1/3 cup broccoli
8:00 pm 12 oz herb tea (I did bring my coffee cup from work..now that's a serving size!)
I got all my vitamins, alittle walking but not much..the weather here is really really cold. Suppose to be 16 degrees overnight..ouch!

Protein: 97.9
Not one of my higher days. This staying with my dad is really wearing me out..I miss my puppies and my husband and NOT in that order! LOL.
You did good. I have all my leftovers at home so I'm not tempted. The breads that I took to work sort of tempted me but cooking with splenda apparently doesn't have as much preservative power as sugar..the cranberry cheese bread had dots of mold on it yesterday afternoon.
You keep up the good work and Lord willing, I'll be on later today!

You know, I lost my home internet connect sunday night for several hours. I heard on the news the next day, that service went down all over the city. Maybe cyber Monday overload???
Respect for parents is so very highly valued by God and so undervalued in life at this time. Taking care of your dad and not wanting to upset him or your stepmother are highly commendable acts at every age. I encourage you to cherish the deeds.
Sorry to hear about the mold..lol..I must say that the last roll yesterday was a bit hard, but I didn't detect any colorful dots!

Thank you for your encouragement..I'm beginning to understand why my step mother is so exhausted all the time! It's not hard work but it's tiring..that is for SURE.
I do believe that the neighbor whose router I'm hijacking into has decided it slowed his access down and so he's turned the wireless portion off for a time.. so I'm not accessing the internet at my dad's house at all right now. I'm watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune with him and making dinner..not too bad but at my own house, I'm spoiled. My husband has dinner ready for me when I get home..I sure miss that! LOL.
