Accountability - Tuesday
Nice day. Cleaning and baking. I made one of my favorites. Cranberry Cheese Bread...splenda this time so we'll see how well that goes over. I'm not telling any of the family which dishes have splenda and which don't but the only thing that doesn't have splenda is the pumpkin bread..all the other sweets will be stuff that I can eat. heeheh.
My eats for today:
Breakfast: 1/3 serving protein waffles, 1/3 serving sugar free syrup
2nd Breakfast: 1 egg, scrambled on a sandwich thin with 1 oz cheddar cheese
24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry
Lunch: 2 cups homemade chicken noodle soup
24 oz Drink Mix, Wyler's Peach Tea
24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange
Snack: 2 oz monterey cheese
Dinner: homemade chili con carne with not enough beans to count in my totals and a tiny piece of cornbread and 1 oz monterey cheese
Dessert: 1/2 large apple, microwaved, 1/2 serving NSA Blue Bunny Ice Cream, 1 spritz of whipped topping
I actually got all my vitamins but not all my water. I'll be bringing a container of water to bed with me because of that..
My totals for the day:
Calories: 1915
Fat: 86.3
Carbs: 159.0
Protein: 144.2
Not bad. I can do better but I'm done for the day. I hit all my marks except the water..tomorrow I'll give it another try. I premade a nice tuna salad for tomorrow..cucumbers, tomato, garlic, onion and olive oil dressing..It's resting in the fridge for tomorrow..plus I have alot of left over chili..maybe I'll do something with that...
How did you do?

I had a good day. Baked and cooked on and off all day. Have half of my Thanksgiving meal prepared. I wish I had planned better before starting. I could have cut back using sugar-free and splenda. I just didn't think it out.
Now I had another episode with "cake mate" decorator icing on a spoon...(it's not even that good!), but I am happy to report that when I found myself filling the spoon the second time around, I said: "What are you doing to yourself?" I tossed the tube with the remaining frosting in the garbage and washed the spoonful in my hand down the garbage disposal.. Some days that garbage disposal is like my best friend..
Today: (my, my, I sure do start my days out late..)
Noon Bread and creamed chicken and veggies
12:30 pm protein drink
1pm decaf coffee
1:30pm one dried pinapple ring
3pm soy chips
4pm small dinner roll (fresh out of the oven!) and homemade chicken soup
5pm this is when the frosting came out..
6pm another roll with hummas
6:30pm soup again
8:30pm and soup again (this soup is so good for me. It tastes great and is real low in calories, plus I get some veggies)
9pm another dried pinapple ring
9:30 pm decaf coffee
Today's totals:
Calories: 1285..wowwee (of course, I am staring at a mini york peppermint pattie, 50 calories, unsure if I'll make it into bed with it still on my desk..)
Protein: 64 grams
all vitamins and fluids? check.
let's see how tomorrow goes. have a good day.

..The fact that you washed the cake mate down the disposal, my friend, is a WIN...woo hoo for YOU..and if you came in at under 1300 calories and you really want that peppermint patty...go for it. That's great. You actually tossed the frosting.
Somehow, we have to find a way to make that frosting have PROTEIN in it..mmm...Maybe chocolate protein powder with splenda (or maybe not) and some cream cheese? Now, that would be a GREAT bit of frosting for you to keep in the fridge when you really feel like grabbing that spoon and indulging..Have you ever checked out www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com? She does the most amazing things with protein powder.
You're doing awesome! Keep up the good work. See ya
