Well, here's a new deal for me..I've consistantly lost a couple tenths of a pound all week long..maybe for two weeks. And now, instead of 127 or 129..I weighed 125.2 this morning..down from 125.4 yesterday and 126.0 the day before..what the heck is that all about? And more to the point, why is this troubling me? I know all I need to do is eat more but I can't wrap my head around it..so in an effort to let loose alittle, I did just that today.

Okay, on to my eats:

Breakfast at about 5 am this morning: 1/3 serving of protein waffles. I made the same amount of waffle stuff but it only made barely three waffles instead of four..and no apple but sugar free syrup

24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry

2nd breakfast. Large mushroom and swiss omelet..couldn't eat the whole thing, I also had rye toast and a couple of bites of home fries.

24 oz Drink Mix, Wyler's Peach Tea

I left all the water alone after this...didn't get enough at all. I figure I'll have water tonight..

Lunch: a cup of homemade chicken noodle soup..I made it for my son but had some too..It just seemed to really need to be eaten..and I did pretty good!

Snack: a sugar free cookie with a tablespoon of reduced fat peanut butter

I had several cups of coffee..cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry. I also cleaned the bathroom and did the vacuuming..

Dinner: frozen meal of meat loaf and green beans. I didn't eat the mashed potatoes. I'm sure the dogs will love it.

After dinner, instead of water, I may just have some nsa ice cream..but it's cold outside..maybe a baked apple instead. Well, not a whole apple but 1/4 of a large baking apple.

The totals I have here are with ice cream and not with the baked apple..

Calories: 1884
Fat: 99.5
Carbs: 142.8
Protein: 124.6

That might keep me above 125 tomorrow, I'm thinkin..Maybe it's because I don't feel like I'm in control. Maybe it's cuz of the stress. I blamed it on stress for a while and laughed but I'm not laughing anymore..sigh..Tomorrow is another day, maybe it won't feel so bad tomorrow!

How did you do?

I think I can really understand what you are saying. It isn't easy to reach a different perspective on weight. When I tell my friend that my weight is up or down by two tenths of a pound, she looks at me like I have developed an eating disorder..but the truth is that it's good for us to focus on the tenths. (at least I believe so) I used to gain 10 pounds at a clip and not be this concerned. That is, of course, why I was so overweight and so very ill.

Usually stress takes me to too much food instead of too little, but it's emotion controlling eating. Well, life itself is an ongoing struggle and so is eating. So, I couldn't agree more that tomorrow is another day. I sure hope that your's goes better for you, because you have help to make mine better. Each day, I look forward to reading your post and think about how my day is going. Thank you so much.

Today:
(slept all morning..)
12:30pm Mac and cheese (homemade)
1pm protein drink and dried papaya
4pm soy chips
5pm instant potatoes with creamed chicken and veggies
6:30pm large cup of decaf coffee
7pm 1/4 cup chocolate chips (whoops)
9 pm small cup decaf coffee
9:30pm safely upstairs at the computer

Totals:
calories: 1355
protein: 67 gr.

Better day. I need to get these four pounds back off...

have a blessed and peaceful night

wow. You hardly ate anything..that calorie number is LOW..I can only do that if I'm busy and being off of work this week, it's a struggle.

I get super hungry when I'm stressed but I've been fighting it and havent' increased my calories any..I think that's why I've lost a couple pounds over the last month..Yeah, we do stress over a couple tenths when we never used to notice until the clothes didn't fit..that's usually about 10 pounds. I'll keep it together and maybe give the scale to my husband for a week or so to keep it from consuming my mind each morning..maybe.

You did awesome. Keep up the good work.

You are off all week;enjoy! It actually snowed for several hours this afternoon! It did not stick; I hope they do not cancel school tomorrow because of icy roads. It is a half day already! I did a 3.2 mile run today before the snow! It was cold but dry at least! It was my best run since pulling my thigh muscles  2 weeks ago.
0800-1/2 100 cal english muffin w smear of crunchy Jif-Pre run
1000-captain crunch witj light soy milk-crazy
1330-roast beef, creamed spinach(light recipe), mashed potatoes
1600-animal crackers
1900-2 slices DeLite Papa Murphy pizza
2030-protein hot chocolate
all my water and such plus a nice run. All the laundry is clean AND put away. There are leftovers for dinner for at two nights. I grocery shopped and just packed all our gear for tomorrow. I feel much better about starting this week than last. I was tired and not prepared.
Sent the Cap N Crunch with DH he works a few hours away and is home on the weekends. He knows I do not want that in the house! I used to eat a half a box at a time!

Woo Hoo for getting a good run in..We have cold weather too but it's rain. It's unusual for us to get rain this early in the year but if it was just a little colder, I think we'd be getting snow too..WAY too early.

Very good to get that Cap n Crunch out of the office. I tend to take any goodies to work with me to give to the girls there. Somehow, if it's available to other people I think will eat it, I'm not as tempted..If it's here, no one but me will eat it and it calls to me..

You did great..Keep up the good work. See ya.

I am trying to maintain a weight loss rhythm. Am down 175 pounds since 6/1/09. These days I drop a pound every few weeks. But, am pretty much stabilized. Would like to drop 20 more, but am OK with it happening over the next months. Would like to be there by my 2 year mark this June lst.

I use a small custard cup to measure my meals and keep myself 'honest' with amounts, too.
Breakfast, Oatmeal with wheat germ, a few raisins and a few slices of banana.
Snack, coffee with a couple of tablespoons half and half
Lunch, 2 cheese sticks, l Dr. Kracker cracker.
Snack, 1/2 orange
Dinner, custard cup of veg's and beans
Snack, protein drink or bar
Drink water from a measured container, sometimes with Crystal Lite.

I also walk 3 miles 4 times a week, do yoga 3 times a week and choose a fun active thing for the 7th. day of the week.

Also, attend monthly support meetings, go to conferences and repeat...nothing tastes as good or lasts as long as my wonderful new tummy feels!

It's all about measuring, really. I have 24 oz bottles that used to contain Propell or G2 Gatorade with the sippy top. I have ice trays that make the long thin ice so I can refill them with my well water or sparkletts at work..and I carry them everywhere. I know 5 of them is about a gallon. I shoot for that each day. I have measuring cups and a digital scale. Lots of times I can look at a piece of meat or something and tell how much it is..other times, I pick up the measuring cup and do it that way..

I only lost 120 from my highest weight..240 in the summer of 2005..before surgery I was 213.

My support is you guys and OH and facebook..and I have great support in my husband. He's there to pull me off the ceiling when I come uncorked over gaining a pound or losing too much. I've been at goal since June 2007..I'm still down to 125.6 today but I'm getting better with it.

Don't forget that dense protein (meat) will keep you fuller longer..and don't forget the vitamins.

You're doing awesome! Keep up the good work. See ya.
