Today I took a vacation day to make my weekend FOUR days...woo hoo. And the plan for the day was to go see a movie with our son..He doesn't go out with us much but we managed to get him enticed with going to a movie..so here's what the day looked like

Breakfast: coffee (always coffee) and 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1 small banana, 1/3 serving sugar free syrup.

Snack: 1 medium corn tortilla, 1 oz jack cheese, 1 slice tomato

24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry

2nd Breakfast: 2 slices rye toast, 3 egg whites, 2 slices tomatoes

24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange

At the movies: 3 cups (at least) of really buttery popcorn..no water cuz I didn't bring a packet of flavor with me...darn it.

24 Drink Mix, I forget what flavor..

No afternoon snacks cuz that popcorn did me in...

Dinner: 1 cup whole wheat spaghetti noodles, 1 left over chicken patty from the chicken marinara meal earlier in the week, 1/2 cup lean beef spaghetti sauce..

Dessert: 2 reduced sugar Pillsbury cup cakes (1/12 package - 1 serving!)

I do believe I'm short on water. I feel thirsty..So in about a half hour I'll have some more water.

I got all my vitamins and little to no exercise so I may have to go for a walk tomorrow and do some heavy housework..maybe even wash the car if the weather is good..

Yup, protein is way too low..carbs are WAY too high..but they weren't all bad carbs. Mostly good ones.

I had an okay day. Busy at work all day but I got alot done! What movie did you see? I doubt I will get one in this weekend and it is so expensive! I am working 3P-3A at my second job tomorrow. On Sunday we have church then I am running with a friend and then I will cook a few meals after grocery shopping. It will be Monday before I know it!
0800-protein drink with soy milk, chocolate protein, and half a frozen banana
1030-tuna salad(1/2 mayo 1/2 0%greek yogurt) bagel thin
1300-chicken ceasar salad with light dressing on the side; no croutons but had a small wheat roll with promise spread
1400-sf chocolate cookie
1600-2 sf oatmeal cookies
1730-1 serving cashews
1900-hamburger patty, sweet potato, steamed brocoli
all my water and vits, except need one more dose of calcium. Will take that before bed
I did not go to the gym but I did go for a brisk walk at lunch with a co worker. I am doing pretty good with my goals so far but it is only Friday!
1600 calories over 100 protein and about 150 carbs; not too bad for me! I am really sleepy. I think I will go to bed early. I am torn between zumba at 8 in the morning or a run with my group at 8. I will see if it is raining and then decide! I do not want to slow down the group with my sore thigh so may just do Zumba.

Do you cook ahead on Sunday? Sort of like Rachel Ray, cook one day and eat five days? I do that for myself I cook a whole chicken breast and then separate it into 4 oz packs and freeze it for tossing into my lunch with either a salad or sandwich thin...makes packing my lunch and planning my meals for work much easier..You froze bananas? That's a great idea! I may do that when I see them on sale again for 25 cents a pound!

You never know...maybe someone else needs to run slower and doesn't want to slow down the group too!
