Very good goals...and very achievable...you can do it..All it takes is alittle planning.

Have you also planned for a reward for when you've been successful for a time...a week? a month?

And a day off of planning or something? I've been thinking about this for some time. I don't plan my "days off" but I do have them. They aren't associated with being successful but when Im just too tired to do what I know I need to do..Thankfully, that doesn't happen much but I do feel myself slipping into that feeling lately.

I'm thinking Thanksgiving will be one of those days and maybe the week after Christmas because we're suppose to go visit our daughter in Sacramento..

Are you planning on giving yourself a "day off?"
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I should do a reward; great idea. I need one that is free though! Maybe permission to play hooky from work and stay home all day in my PJ's watching old movies while DD is at school and DH at work. A day with my dog and cats!

I will take the holidays off. I usually eat a bit of whatever I want. I just have to avoid a hypoglycemic event!

I think that's an AWESOME idea..If you have sick days or Personal Need time..I would do that. I do that and call it a sick day: "I'm having eye trouble..I can't SEE myself at work."

That is funny! I am going to use that on Friday. I checked my calendar and I do not have anything scheduled. M-TH is very packed so I will be ready for a break by Friday. I am also working next Saturday 7A-7P at my other job.
I am doing well with my goals so far;yeah! I did an hour of Zumba and am track with vits and calcium.
The challenge will be at work;avoiding the sugar! I will just keep busy and do lots of walking! I always use the stairs for my hourly rounds of the nursing floors. I should find a pedometer and clock my steps! I am going to make my grocery list while at work on a break so I can shop and cook after church.
I do cook a few meals to be prepared for the week. We do not get home until nearly 7 or 8 T-F.
I do the old standby's; taco meat, spaghetti pie, stuffed potatoes for DD, chili. I am lazy and buy a rotissirie chicken on Sunday. I should just cook my own.
Hope everyone else in on track with their goals for the weekend!
