There are a few of us (okay, make that a lot of us) on here who are struggling with weight gain. We just very recently started a new thread about our daily goals and achievements. We are hoping to make ourselves accountable for the actions we take that make us gain weight and what we can do to reverse that. Support is needed by all of us at one time or another.

When asked about surgery, I tell people I'm never hungry but I always want to eat. I think many times, we confuse the food additiction hunger with actually being hungry.
First, concentrate on what your stomach feels like shortly after you eat a meal. This is "normal" and if you want to eat later in the day but feel "normal" you're not actually hungry and you can work on controlling the addiction.
Second, eat only at meal time and no snacks. If you're to the point of wanting to chew the legs off furniture between meals, you can get help for the addiction.
