let's get this group active!!
Hey all,
I just noticed that there were 88 people that looked at the thread "I don't want to be a failure". That tells me that there are allot of us out there who are struggling who want to discuss the pitfalls we are facing with maintenance and regain.
I posted on that thread that maybe we should have a daily 'talk' about our goals for the day, eating, exercising...... if we accomplished our goal how did we do it, planning, avoiding.... or did we not make our goal and why, temptations, low self esteem???? And did we learn anything to help us avoid them the next time that issue comes up.
What do you all think, anybody willing.....let's get this grad group active.

Hello,
I am willing! I post almost every day on the accountability thread hosted by Dawn.I could use some help with goals along with many others here on the boards!
I am six years post op; have never been to goal;but am satisfied for the most part. I am smaller than I have ever been in my adult life and do things I would never do if still MO.
I struggle mostly with vitamins and such. I could eat less carbs and eat more protein but am for the most part content with my food choices and exercise level.
I enjoy the companionship with Dawn on the accountability thread and of my running/Zumba buddies. That is how I have become "compliant" for the most part anyway with exercise and eating. I also post and read the exercise and fitness board for inspiration.

Once I start exercising I'm pretty good......I don't want to do all that work for nothing :), and I'd love to try Zumba, can't wait to get to know you.

Stay active....post questions if you have any issues that your having problems with, I'm discovering at 3 years out that some of my labs are slipping and I'm pretty diligent with my vitamins. I'm curious to see if this is happening to other people 3+ years out.
How are labs? Any issues?
