Accountability - Friday
At least the weekend is right here..I did some housework this morning, laundry, vacuuming, some dusting..but I left the dishes for dear hubby..hahahah..I'm sure I'll get my share over the weekend..
My eats:
5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 apple, 1/3 serving sugar free syrup
6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:30 am the rest of a container of Drink Mix from the bed side table..I'm doing this more and more...keeping water next to the bed!
7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Strawberry
8:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange
9:30 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
10:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Wyler's Peach Tea
10:30 am fish sandwich: 3.3 oz fish fillet, 1T Tartar sauce, 1 slice processed cheese, 1 ww bagel thin
11:15 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Polar Blast
12:45 pm 1/3 cup cole slaw, 1/2 cucumber
2:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg, 1 small orange
3:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated
4:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Wyler's Peach
4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange
6:00 pm 4 oz Tilapia (fried), 1/2 small yam (baked), 1/3 cup canned spinach cooked..and 1/2 tablespoon margarine

Wow..really short tonight. I got more than enough water..all my vitamins! I did a bunch of walking today too..Now I could be done for the evening or I could have a snack. I'm out of shortbread cookies so...maybe half a baked apple with whipping cream and cinnamon..or maybe a single serving of kettle corn popcorn..The world is WIDE open! Woo Hoo..my kind of friday!

I started the weekend early; I took the day off! I was up at 5 to go to boot camp at the Y at 5:30! It kicked my butt! Then I went to breakfast and shopping with my sister and lunch actually. Took DD to hip hop then out to dinner and a movie! Made gfair choices but the sodium is through the roof; I will push plain water tomorrow!
0500-rf string cheese and 6 rf wheat thins
0800-bagel thin w PB and sf jelly
1030-inside of quiche and some yummy fresh fruit
1400-1/2 turkey and cheese on wheat
1800-tortilla soup without the tortill strips or avacado
1945-movie popcorn shared a small bag and it was barely half gone
Not sure on the water but it should be close. Calcium samples came in the mail from Century. The cherry was good; like a sweet tart the strawberry creme was just okay. Hope everyone has agreat weekend!

Boot Camp is brutal..no matter what it is..and always at the crack of dawn..yikes. Don't forget tonight to turn your clock back!
You'll see the effects of that sodium fest on the scale the next day. Somedays if I eat pizza toppings or tacos (or anything like potato chips... mmm making myself hungry!) the scale can be up as much as 3 pounds. YOu should have seen it after the anchovies! ouch..But it doesn't bug me as much these days cuz I realize it's temporary..the next day it's back down where it should be. I'm getting better about panicking over the number on the scale these days!
You had a really long day..and just being up and out of bed has to count for something but you DID a bunch. Very cool (jealous here..about being a couch potato too much!)

After being on the RNY board and never posting on the What did you eat today since I always feel like such a glutton maybe I'll try it here. Although maybe I will still feel like a glutton but it's what I do. It seems like you eat as often as I do Dawn. With RH it is necessary thing and it's never too long before getting to eat again for those of us who still live to eat!
My menu doesn't vary much from day to day since I don't seem to get bored with the same foods and it's easy and I know how much I can eat without too much thought. I also keep everything in the refrig and freezer so cook large batches at a time.
B: 1/2 c Egg Beaters with 1 c cut veg, 1/2 oz mozz cheese and 2 fruits
#2 3/4 cup cereal, Kashi Go Lean, Spec K hi protein, 1/2 cup nf yogurt (make my own) and 2 fruits
#2 1/2 have to have either yogurt or protein ice cream within 1 1/2 hrs of this meal of crash city with the BS
#3 3/4 cup home made chili with TVP and lots of beans and vegs, 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 cup home made cold slaw
#4 Veg burger, home made, with 2 tlbs hummus and 2 tlbs avocodo and veg, usually carrots and broccolli
#5 Home made bread w/ PB2 and pumpkin butter and 1 cup of protein ice cream
#6 3 oz meat of fish, a huge salad w/spinich, onions, radishes, etc. Yogurt and salsa for dressing.

I usually have another cup or 2 of ice cream during the day also. I average 2000 calories and 130 g of protein. I always drink 5 qts of water a day and get in all my vits and pills. I counted them the other day and there are 32 of them. That includes 8 calcium, 2 multi, 3 iron, 3 stool softners, 3 Magnesium, RX potasium and a few other RX for heart and cholo. That is more pills than I was taking before surgery by a lot but it's worth it to be healthy, slim and active.
