Doctor day for my annual physical..they had a trainee examine me and do the whole pelvic..She was okay but...she looked to be about my SON'S age! Barely 19...Today was my Friday because tomorrow is a Furlough Day...I get to have the day off and I get to NOT get paid for that privilage..my wallet does NOT thank the state budget for it either..

My eats:

5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffle, 1/2 apple, 1/3 serving sugar free syrup

6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

7:00 am 24 oz Drink Mix, SoBe Strawberry Banana

8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

8:45 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Lipton Mandarin Mango Tea

11:10 am chicken sandwich: 2.5 oz baked chicken breast, 1 slice processed american cheese, 1 packet barbecue sauce on a sandwich thin (I dropped nearly half the 4 oz chicken on the floor so all I had left was barely over half of it..darn!)

11:45 am 12 oz decaf coffee w/Splenda and Half n Half

12:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Berry Limeade

2:00 pm 1/2 apple

2:15 pm 1 medium plum

2:30 pm 1 hard boiled egg, 1/4 sugar free chocolate candy bar

3:00 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated (apparently it doesn't much matter if I have the caffeine before the blood pressure test! My bp was 134/98 this morning! WTHeck? It's never over 90/58!) Whatever..I bet it was because I had on long sleeves..that must be it.

4:00 pm 1/2 serving animal crackers (7 crackers)

4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Polar Blast

6:00 pm 1 chicken thigh, broiled (previously boiled), 1/2 cup chili con carne with beans (from yesterday), then for dessert: 4 fudge covered graham cookies (sf) and 1T reduced fat peanut butter..

I think a nice cup of tea just before dinner and I'm done..

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1527
Fat: 67.8
Carbs: 118.9
Protein: 122.6

Not bad at all. I think my gallbladder should be very happy with that. Like I told the doctor, the gallbladder kindness diet is working. I'm feeling good, the carbs are keeping the pipes clear and that makes me very happy..

How did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I have not done my totals; kind of afraid to! Quantity was okay but the quality was not as good as it should of been.I would have a real hard time taking furlough days; we are tight as it is. You think your okay then the garage door opener breaks, replace it and is till is not working and finally have a repairman come; that is our drama of the week!
0800-protein drink
1000-9 kisses;over 2 hours
1300-bowl of chicken soup with spinach and 6 saltines
1630-DID NOT EAT A BROWNIE OFF THE BREAKROOM COUNTER!
1800-2 slices Papa Murphy Hawaiin DeLite
1930-1 small suagar cookie w frosting
2100-I think I will have an apple before bed; sounds good right now but I am stuffed!
No exercise;yikes! I will get a run in tomorrow.DD had friends over to frost and decorate Halloween cookies for her class party. Can you tell my why it is the mom who works 50 hours a week is the class mom? DD school is probably half and half of moms who work outside the home and those who do not.
I am going toorder some calcium citrate chews tomorrow. I take the calcium citrate petites but they must not be working. I have been on Vit D but only since Spring I believe.

Wow..you left the brownies alone..that's great..Most times they look too greasy to me and I manage to talk myself out of it..

I have no idea why the stay at home moms (the ones who wear jammies out in public!) don't help with the classroom stuff. Maybe they need to wait at the social services office for benefits or something. It just seems wrong to me.

I'd be scared of the totals too..you needed a couple of apples or something in there! The carb totals would have been the same, I gotta think. Keep up the good work. See ya.

It's great the way you are eating every couple of hours..that keeps you full and satisfied so that the temptation of snacks is less..

I would rather use Plain Soy Milk actually. The other is just too sweet..I buy it by the case at Costco! about $1 a quart.

It's a great idea to get rid of the salad you can't eat. Will they give you a half salad there? I've never checked..It's worth asking. I know that frugal feeling that you don't want to "waste" food has caused alot of people to gain (including me!) My saving grace on that is that I have doggies that will eat just about anything and they love me to not be able to eat all my food. even a salad..LOL.

Good job! Keep up the good work. And Happy Surgiversary..Congrats!

You're right. Mine is just 8 grams of protein and 100 calories..but I'm such a cheapo..LOL. I even found it at our local 99 cent store and thought about it but like the cases I get at costco...
