What a lovely day! We had a really good day all around. I got 4 containers of water and one more will do it for me tonight. I got all my vitamins and all my medication too. A good friend bought us breakfast and I couldn't eat but half of it and saved it for lunch! We did a TON of walking at the Mall. I signed up for a Macy's credit card since my daughter works there and she gets credit for it. I found three items in the JUNIOR section and lust after a gorgeous purse they have there (for $75 dollars on sale, I'm not buying it but I can lust after it!) I went to Sears at the OTHER end of the mall and they got me to re-sign up for a credit card where I picked up a dress for FREE because I did..Some guy offered to buff my nails...actually did one and it looks great but not enough to spend $65 on the kit..

Then we went to the Septemberfest at our town park and it was fun too. More walking! Came home and ate lunch and watched television and facebooked all after noon...\

My eats:

B: 1/4 serving of protein waffles. I made 8 servings ahead so all I have to do is pop them in the toaster..no muss, no fuss..and 1/3 serving of sugar free syrup..really I don't need them swimming in syrup lately..

2B: 1/2 a six egg pastrami and cheese omelet with maybe a 1/4 cup hashed browns.

Three bottles of water

L: 1/2 that six egg pastrami monster and another tiny serving of hashed browns. Oh, and pizza sauce all over it..yummers.

No snacks today. I was not looking for snacks. I was thirsty though and had another container of water (each one is 24 oz)

Dinner: left over chicken thigh meat (4.75 oz) 1 slice cheddar cheese -real stuff, not processed, a tiny bit of tomato and some salsa on two medium corn tortillas..Totally stuffed!

I don't think there will be dessert tonight but there could be. I'm just thirsty cuz of the Dayquil I've been taking to help me through the sinus infection..and my antibiotics and steroids..I have the BEST allergist. He gives me chewables and liquid because he's very aware of absorption issues with WLS..

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1679
Fat: 101.0
Carbs: 60.7 (Really? I didn't even MISS them!)
Protein: 134.7 (WOW! just WOW!)

I did good. I feel great (about time!) and headed to bed soon..

How did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

You had a busy day! Walking counts; especially if you walk past Aunt Annies pretzels! That is my downfall at the mall!
0900-eggs w rf cheese, turkey bacon and 100 cal thin w sf jelly
1300-inside of a pulled pork quesidilla from Q doba. had a free entree card so we went there for lunch; it was good!
1800-rf wheat thins and a string cheese
1930-1/2 roast beef and swiss sandwich on wheat and a cookie
I went for a brisk 5 mile walk with my sister after breakfast. I just got to work at my second job. I burned the steaks I put on the BBQ so did not get to eat before I got here! Poor DH and DD are eating baked potatoes and turkey kielbasa for dinner. I was doing too many things at once and totally forgot about the steaks!
Glad you are feeling better, keep resting and downing those fluids; especially with the Dayquil!

I've been doing really bad in keeping up with my fluids and I'm retaining either water or waste..probably because I haven't eaten any fiber or kept up the water..This is just not a simple, eat what I want sort of journey!

I managed to walk past Mrs Field's Cookies..I stopped and looked but when I asked the man if they had anything that was sugar free, he laughed at me. hmm. You know, sugar free and reduced sugar is the new thing in products but not everyone believes it. I won't snack at Cold Stone either! When they see they messed up and come-a-courtin, we'll be on to the next great sugar free thing! Their loss.

My biggest problem with grilling steaks is that I will forget about them unless I stand there and when it's 105 on the deck even without the grill fired up, I just don't want to..so I have a timer that I can clip to my shirt and move indoors. LOL. That timer has saved many a steak! My husband doesn't believe in using the timer (says his inner clock is good enough) but when I got tired of burnt steaks (and I love them medium rare) I had to take over with my timer!

Turkey kielbasa is better than a burnt steak anyway! Good job.

Keep up the good work. See ya.
