Accountability - Monday
Much better today. Not my allergies but my eating. I was totally under control today while at work. No snacking, no junk food..yeah me. I couldn't even finish my salad for lunch. I finished the meat and the rest was tossed..
5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 serving sugar free syrup
6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss, vitamins

8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

9:30 am 1 chicken tamale (home made)

12:30 pm 3 oz steak, 2/3 cup lettuce, 1/2 stripped corn cob, 2 slices tomato, 1/4 cup broccoli, 1 oz ceasar dressing

I still got alittle more carbs and less protein than I wanted but I'm still working on turning this sailboat around..AHOY!

I had a fair day. I skipped the Nyquil last night and just took some delsym cough syrup. I think it worked pretty well. I only woke up once and was able to go back to sleep after a bit.
0800-eggbeater veggie omellette with rf cheese and bacon
1230-1 piece of fish with most of breading picked off and a few fries
1500-cottage cheese and mixed fruit, and a 100 cal chex mix; was hungry from bad lunch choice
1830-spaghetti pie
2030-sf shortcake, strawberries and squirt of reddi whip.
No exercise but am attempting a run/walk after work today. I am so bummed that I had this hiccup in my running again. I was up to 10 miles! I will be back again soon I know.
Glad you can go to the allergist again. Those co pays and all add up! I am lucky we are double insured but when DD is sick the prescriptions are still so expensive because she is allergic to anything cheap or that is covered with the $3 copay from TriCare! Her pediatrician works with us to be economical but it always ends up being the expensive stuff. Her ear drops with steroids are nearly $100 dollors out of pocket. Her inhalers are around $50.
