New to forum
Hi- I'm like alot of you- trying to get back on track. Recent 5 pound weight gain. I've slipped into some bad carb grazing habits. But long story short...........I realize I need support now more than ever before I really slide all the way down that slippery slope! So wondering does anyone have a filling bean soup recipe- and also how much fruit do you usually allow yourself daily?

No drama..maybe excitement over someone eating something different but no drama..
I allow myself as much fruit and vegetables as are around..What I don't do alot of is white carbs or empty carbs. That would be bread, pasta, rice...stuff like that. I lean toward whole wheat and low carb..bordering on gluten free, in real life..Mostly because an apple doesn't cause me to want to eat a cookie but a cracker (or 16 of them) will have me looking for a handful of cookies and then taking a nice carb coma nap later..
Welcome. 5 pounds is very doable..Just recognize the problem and steer to the side of it or completely the other direction. We're there with ya on that!

My surgery date was 5/1/08... I have recently gained 4 lbs after being at the same 168 for over a yr. One would think 4 lbs would not make such a difference. It has for me. I guess it is where I am carrying it. Clothes seem tighter.
I do not do my water at all. I really need to up it... and I have allowed too many carbs the last 3-5 months.
Household dynamics have played a factor. The dynamics are not changing any time soon, so I must find a way to tweak it and make better selections.
