This will be an interesting week. I'm in an unusually good mood for having no authority figures at work. They're all on a conference this week. Nothing can get done because there is no authorization to get things done..So the pressure is off, I guess.

We had excitement around here tonight. The sheriffs lost some bad guy in our neighborhood and the heliocopter is still circling..all the doors and windows are locked now and the dogs outside to run guard duty..Nothing like this happens around here so after calling all the neighbors to check in, we're all in for the night..

LOL. YOu would think that living in the middle of no-where it'd be boring..Not sure why it's not like that but...I still prefer this life over living in town..I'm a pioneer girl. I work better in the middle of nowhere. No one around to complain about my loud music!

You did really good..I love arnold's sandwich thins...like the oroweat ones, they're low calorie and low carb. On days where I can spare the carbs I use those. When I can't, I wrap my sandwiches in lettuce. I've been thinking about doing that with tuna salad. Eggs are good but they're high in calories compared to the protein..What you're looking for is more than 10 percent protein per calories. so for 150 calories you need more than 15 grams of protein. It's not that you aren't doing really good, you are..you're cutting out the white carbs (the baked stuff) and that's really the hardest part..That stuff has a pull on you so BAD! I mean when I have even that sandwich thin, it's like it's sitting in there calling to MORE carbs and messing with my brain!
You're doing fantastic on cutting out those white carbs. The longer you get them out of your diet list, the less they will have a pull on you. Look at that number too! 66 carbs compared to 74 protein! that's definitely the ticket..Keep the carbs under that protein and if you do have more carbs than protein, take a look at them. If they're from fruits and veggies, that's okay! It's the white carbs that are calling...not the apples or peaches or carrots...It's funny about that but it's how it works for me.

yes i bought one package of the arnolds thins. finally found them. i did like them. i'm trying to figure out a snack tonight i was thinking pb and saltines and maybe some more brick cheese. its really had. i want to eat some of my special k plus cereal but i have no milk i can drink. my bf has whole milk in the fridge and i dont buy any milk for me. i do have powdered milk in the cubbard...
Brick cheese and then pb on a spoon..no cracker. LOL. I'm so anti bread anymore...
I buy plain soy milk at the 99 cents store and just keep it until I feel like drinking milk. It's got an amazing shelf life and doesn't need to be refrigerated until it's opened. and it's in small enough containers where I won't waste it if I open it and don't use all of it..my dh has whole milk in the fridge too and he goes through a whole gallon by himself in a day or two..I don't really like powdered milk but if you develope a taste for it..it's all good.
I bought beef jerky too..I found it cheap online and bought a whole case of it. LOL. If you need a snack that will stick with you for a while, some of that cheese with a piece of lunch meat wrapped around it and a piece of fruit of some kind...yeah, fruit has carbs in it but they're good carbs.

You work so hard on a work day, you deserve to have a relaxing day from time to time. I'm sure the heat and humidity have been oppressing lately..it has been here! Too hot to do much outside at all. I look forward to the weekends so we can get moving before the sun comes completely up..

Woooowwww Dinner & a show (but i cant stand eggplant) lol Hope everything turned out alright!
Personally - i love it when the bosses are away. Althought at times, it seems like there's sometimes more to do, it also seems like im (sometimes) more productive lol
I felt like i was off schedule all day, but i somehow managed to nail my cal count.
I really need to decide - either stick w/ atkins for another 6 wks or move on to another plan because i really feel like this hanging out in limbo will do me nothing but a whole bunch of no good! & I really dont want to UNDO the progress that Ive already made.
I also just thought to do a 5dpt (to kinda clean out the system) in between 6 wk sessions.
So im kinda lost right now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We took the 30x32 jeans back to Old Navy & exchanged them for 32x32s!
