I am 3 years post of my gastic bypass surgery. I have put on 15 pounds this year. question is do I stay on the high protein diet for ever, or does that change with time. I have not been watching my protein intake as I did in the being. Is this the reason I have gained. What is the grams of protein i need a day?

I do believe that the protein first is a good rule of thumb. You can regain for many reasons,too many calories,not enough exercise, poor diet...
Every program is different but I'm supposed to have 60+g of protein a day.
Good luck to you.

My protein requirements are 80-110 grams daily.

Get on those 15 lbs. now before they become 20.

Yep, it's forever. You'll never absorb protein like you used to. Get back on the protein, cut carbs and you should lose again. Exercise and ge****er in, etc., as well.

We all fall off the wagon and have to get back on. It's why we're here, to help each other. {{{HUGS}}}
