NEED TO LOSE 15 LBS

I have put on 15 lbs this year. I think it's because I have not been watching my protein grams. what is the grams per day for woman? I am 3 years post of my bypass surgery. and I need a diet plan to follow? can you recomend one? In the being I was told 90 grams. Do you have to stay on a high protein diet for life?
Is the Akins diet a good diet to follow, or do you recomend something else.

I use the nutrition tracker on sparkpeople.com.  I already posted in your other message about the amount of protein I aim for.

The new Atkins is very good and so is the South Beach.  I was surprised at Atkins.  I tried it once years ago and didn't like it at all.  Now, they encourage you to have vegetables and some fruits depending on how your weight loss is going.  The paperback Atkins book is about $10.

Good luck!!  Keep us posted on how you're doing.  Chase those nasty 15 lbs. away.

you should not have to be talking or asking about a DIET.  you have a tool ..use it.  get back to the basics...PROTEIN first. VITAMINS always. DRINK WATER.  EXERCISE.  no GRAZING.

i am 5 years out.  yes, i regained 32# over the last 3 years.  on March 29th, i woke up, opened my eyes and got back to basics...since then, ive lost 20# of the regain.  if you use your tool in the way it was intended it will work.

I was just reading your reply to this post and I want to thank you, you helped me to open my eyes. I'm up 55# and am so ready to get this back off.  I know for me alot of my issues have been stress eating in the last year and I need to stop it.
