Off and running today. I cleaned out my car yesterday but still have a couple of things that need to be done. I did have my taster all set for chicken cacciatore tonight but someone (who shall remain nameless: Dear Hubby) forgot to turn the crock pot on at the appointed time (10 am) and so we'll have that tomorrow night and burgers tonight.

5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, sf syrup and parkay

6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/nsa Swiss Miss

9:15 am 10 of the most luscious small plums I've ever had! I couldn't stop eating them!

10:00 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange [realized I left the house without my vitamins! Just now took 1 multi, 1 calcium and 1 B-12 - that will have to suffice until I get home and take the rest]

11:30 am 12 oz sugar free, nearly decaf, cappuccino (instant)

4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, AquaFuision Strawberry Soother

6:00 pm 1/4 lb sirloin burger wrapped in lettuce with tomato and mustard. No cheese either.

Well, too many plums I'm sure is the issue with these numbers. WAY too many plums. But they were so good. They didn't even look ripe. All yellow and green with some pink on the outside but when you bit into them, blood red on the inside and so juicy and SO sweet..but not all that sweet, it had a tart background taste and I just had to keep eating them. I'll have to stay away from them tomorrow cuz I have a class to teach and the gas is NOXIOUS!

How did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I only journaled (sp?) my food for breakfast yesterday..then I grazed in the evening, amazing how that all correlates. I was feeling bad my weekend eating and my Monday grazing. Gave myself a "quite your pity party and get off your butt and break a good sweat" talk. It worked. I feel great. I'm eating good for today(Tues.) Hope everyone else is better than I did.

Im exhausted after a long but very quick turn around trip to SoCal this past weekend.
P & I drove down (made it in 5 hrs from san jose lol) & stayed w/ a gf in Hollywood. Breakfast @ Mel's then off to Universale Studios on saturday where we spent 7-8 hours & was only able to get on TWO rides! LOL
Dinner @ some place in LA Live & back to her place.
The next morning we were off to Santa Ana for another gfs bby shower. Then backtracked through Anaheim & LA at about 3:30 headed home. I was already tired when we left & by the time i got over the grapevine, my eyes were totally burning - so i pulled ovr for one of those 5-hr energy shots. Took me about 6 hrs to get home.
(It's friday now - That trip pretty much derailed my entire week lol it took me THAT LONG to recoup!)

Monday morning i was up (not so bright & early mind you) & off to the gym to have my meassurements done.
I did not log my eats for monday, but here are my other numbers.

1/25/10                    8/10/10
Age- 39                    Age- 39
Weight – 231          Weight- 225.4 (3lb difference between their scale & my home scale)                                   Body fat- 42.8 %
                                  BMI- 37.5
1/25/10                    8/10/10
Waist- 33.9              Waists- 33.4
Hips – 52                 Hips- 51.4
Arm/Bicep- 15.7      Arm/bicep-15.5
Abdomen- 45          Abdomen- 41.4
Thigh- 32                 Thigh- 30
Calf- 19                    Calf-18.8
Forearm- 11            Forearm- 10.3

To tell you the truth, these numbers arent as significant as i thought (or was hoping) they'd be. Especially with all the WO ive been doing over the past 6 wks. So that was maybe a little discouraging, but at least we are still going in the right direction.
Im thinking i must have gone up between jan & maybe may b/c i know ive gone way down since the end of june.
