I also just had a baby (okay well 7 months ago).  I had a hard time getting back on track with my diet and now that I am over 2 years post op I found I could eat almost anything.  I was very sick during my pregnancy and my Dr. said to just eat whatever I could keep down.  I have 20 pounds to lose and I just started WonderSlim.  It is like Medifast but I think it tastes better.

I picked my scale at Sam's Club pre op for less than $30. All it does is give weight up to 330lbs. As far a vitamins 2 chewables (either centrum adult or whatever my younger kids are taking), 2 spring valley iron 65mg, 1000mg gnc sublingual b12 5days a week, 2 citrical petites ( vitd) 2x daily, for me those are the necessities. I also take fish oil, and biotin. Maybe you should get with your dr. and get some labs done so you know exactly what you need. I think you'll find everyone's vitamin routine is a little different and tweaked for their personal needs.
Exercise and water is a good start though...enjoy your baby :)

You are definately not alone.  My baby turned 1 at the end of July and I weigh more now than when I was 9 months pregnant.  I just can't seem to find motivation and want to pig out on junk food all the time.  I sure wish there was a miracle cure! I picked up 40 lbs as well.... so, what's your plan to get yours off? Maybe I can borrow some "motivation" from you!
