Accountability - Saturday
Slow day but I got a lot done. Up early doing laundry and cleaning for a long time before we went grocery shopping. Short money week so shopping didn't take long. Sure looks depressing when I'm bagging up $13 dollars in groceries while the people ahead of me and behind me are pushing two carts and totalling up to $450...guess it was the EBT cash in day!
6:00 am 1/2 serving protein waffles, sugar free syrup, parkay spray
7:00 am 1 oz mozzarella chees stick, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
8:00 am 24 oz drink mix, can't remember the flavor
9:00 am 24 oz drink mix, lemonade I think
10:30 am 3 egg omelet (well, most of it) with cheddar and chili..and some hashed browns...stuffed
12:45 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, some flavor, I forget which
1:30 pm tuna and black bean salad (1 can tuna, 1 can black beans, 1.5 cobs of roasted corn off the cob, tomato, a couple pineapple chunks and some raspberry dressing, about 1/3 of the whole salad)
3:00 pm 24 oz drink mix
5:00 pm single serving of kettle corn popcorn, 1 oz cheddar cheese
6:30 pm the last of the omelet on an oroweat sandwich thin..alot of meaty chili
8:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Lipton Cherry Tea
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1496
Fat; 71.1
Carbs: 105.5
Protein: 121.5
Not bad..I'm okay with these numbers.

I had a lazy day! Slept in and missed my group run. I have to run alone in the morning now. I spent all morning sorting through my in laws things that are stored in our gagrage! It is mostly material and quilting supplies. My MIL has alzheimers now which is sad so they have moved to a senior apartment. She was addicted to material! I am having a garage sale for quilters in a few weeks so I can recoup some of the money for them.
0900-scrambled eggs w cheese and 1 veggie sausage, 100 cal muffin
1330-2 slices delite pizza
1500-baked cheetos
1830-fiber one bar
2000-hamburger patty, steamed brocoli,sweet potato
WOW what a carbfest! No exercise, not enough water and missed most of my vits and calcium!
Tomorrow is "Do Over Day"! Hope you are all healed up!

Grocery shopping....ugh. DH will ask if I need many groceries and I don't think I do but I still spend $50-75 a week for the 2 of us. We eat breakfast out once a week and maybe get takeout once a week.
Yesterday I was stressed. I have a grown son who is an alcoholic. He has been in treatment since June and is almost finished with his classes. His employer told him he had to get help or he was out of a job so that really motivated him. I want to believe he is moving forward, but if I don't hear from him and he doesn't answer his phone I stress big time. Yesterday he wasn't answering his phone and I was a mess.
This morning I called him and found out he was working in the yard yesterday and was at a cookout in the evening. I'm not the overprotective mom that has to talk to her kid every day, but when I don't hear from him or he doesn't answer his phone, in the past, that meant there was a problem. DH says I need to stop stressing but how do you do that?
