yeah, I'm sore..and my toe apparently was stubbed when I took the fall. I have bruises on the side of my left foot, on my left hip, left knee...of course my left elbow is swollen. On top of feeling like I got beat up, I'm suddenly super hungry..I think I ate 3/4 of what I brought in my lunch bag before 10 am today..I couldn't get some sort of control going!

5:15 am 1/2 serving protein waffle, 1/2 serving sugar free syrup, 1/3 tablespoon of Soft n Gold margarine (multi vitamin, 1 calcium citrate, 1 biotin, 1 Omega 3, 1 B-12 sublingual, 1 D-3)

6:30 am 10 oz coffee w/ NSA Swiss Miss

7:00 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Wylers Cool Raspberry

8:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

8:30 am 12 oz Drink Mix, Wylers Cool Raspberry

8:45 am 1 small grapefruit

9:30 am 24 oz Drink Mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange

10:00 am 1/2 cup whole wheat spaghetti noodles, 1/2 cup spagetti sauce with extra meat, 1/4 cup canned spinach
12:00 am 12 oz instant cappuccino (99% decaf)

12:30 pm 16 Wheat Thin Reduced fat crackers, 4 oz baked chicken breast, 1 pkt light zesty italian dressing (the crackers I have in my desk cabinet for emergencies..this could constitute one since I'm starving for some reason)

1:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated, maybe ice on the elbow will help..maybe!

2:15 pm 1 small pear

3:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, GV Peach Tea

4:30 pm 24 oz Drink Mix, Crystal Light Hydrating Berry

6:30 pm 5 oz salmon, 1/3 cup mashed potatoes, 5 cauliflowerettes

Yikes. I guess the carbs were off the charts today. I knew I was eating a bunch of those but most were good carbs..and I'm still hungry..hmm. Not good.

How did you do?

I fell doing Zumba back in January and hurt my elbow. It hurt so bad I went to the Urgent care Center where they did x rays. I had fallen so hard I displaced my fat pads! I told them I did not know there were fat pads on your elbow, and I am a nurse! At first I thought they were joking with me because I am plump, but then realized I am really not all that big anymore(size 12 and 5'8")!
Rest up and feel better soon! I took ibuprofen it hurt so much, I imagine you must be feeling it all over!
0900-boiled egg
1200-deli turkey, swiss cheese, 1/2 piece wheat, roasted asparugus, peppers and onions-yum!
1430-100 calorie pack cookies
1900-scrambled eggs w cheese, veggie sausage,100 cal english muffin w light butter and sf jelly
No exercise and all my water and such!

I took some tylenol the first night, knowing I was gonna hurt. My whole left side was bruised but my elbow took the brunt of it. It swelled up yesterday afternoon cuz I rest my arm on the desk when I use my keyboard at work...so I took a ziplock bag with ice and rested it on that...worked really good. I didn't know about fat pads either. I guess we're made with all the padding we need and don't need the extra of being "obese"! What a concept! LOL.

I was able to sleep on my left side last night. I sort of rolled and pushed what little flabby skin forward to rest that bruised bone on..I had no idea!

Your list looks really good. Hardly any snacking! Great job. Keep up the good work.

EIGHT hours of overtime? SWEEET. I get no overtime and no comp time because it was mandated several years ago. Strangely I heard someone in my department has been getting comp time. I don't care! I like my time off but if I was working 3 12's? I'd be there for an 8 hour over time in a heart beat..

It's amazinb that you can eat meals AND snacks with all that going on but your days are alot longer than most. You have to snack and eat more. You're doing more. Just being awake longer burns more calories and I don't imagine you're asleep on your feet, that's for sure.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

We keep our lunch bags at the nurses station and snack and keep working. If we didn't do it that way, we would never get meals.

Wow..you did awesome. Great numbers. I was curious about the high fat percent (that green half circle sort of catches your eye!) but it's due to the calories being so low. It's lower than the carbs so it's great..I don't care about that green half circle so much!

I see the fat content more today because of my cholesterol levels on my blood work results yesterday. Guess who will be going to low fat! Yeah, my cholesterol hit 263 so.. I'm sure my PCP will be chewing me out..

Great job on the water and fluids..that's awesome! Keep up the good work. See ya.

Seems like what happens when I get my little mutt dog all excited about going out side..all excited and wagging his tail and out the door he goes..then he looks around like "WHA? what just happened? How did I end up HERE?" LOL.

You and I did the same thing yesterday. Wouldn't it be nice to recognize it BEFORE it was all over?  But at least writing it down helps to see it. And that way you can adjust the next day before it becomes a trend.

Have a great friday! You're doing a great job..keep it up.
