So, at almost five years out am I still glad that I had the surgery? YOU BET I AM!!! It it difficult?  YOU BET IT IS!

Me too, as I reach my 6 year surgiversary...I'd do it again in a heartbeat...and yes every day has its difficulties.

You are a true inspiration! Congratulations. I recognize that walker in your photos (I had a total hip replacement 6 months after my RNY).

Yes, every day is worth it. Today I try to use all my tools given and walk 2.5 miles up a steep hill every morning...because I CAN!!!
