OMG.I was having a really good day. I was feeling all smug about being as old as I am cuz there are alot of people my age that are not doing well. Aches, pains..osteo. I was thinking my blood work was awesome..And then I hit the pavement. Literally. I tripped over a parking lot stop and ended up with my left side planted on the parking lot at my allergist's office..Ouch. I am sore but I'm gonna be even more sore tomorrow..

Well, I discovered that I must have stubbed my toe too but the hip isn't bad...just bruised. The elbow hurts pretty good but I can move it..not bad. I'll grow a new one. LOL. I'll limp for a while. I'll have to take it easy for a while till I heal up.
That's awesome about the position. I did management for some years in the Concrete industry and completely can feel your pain. I'm happy as a little clam to be a big fish in my little pond with NO responsibilities like management..

Sugar is as addictive as CRACK for some people. The successful ones can take all things in moderation and that works for them...but it doesn't work for me. If I give in to sugar (like if it was alcohol) I just can't stop. So the safest way to handle it is like booze. Just never start back up! NO one thinks they can offer an alcoholic just one beer. How come they're always saying "Just one won't hurt." ?

The calories on ICBINB seem to be just as high (or higher) than parkay..hmmm. I could have sworn my margarine is 100 calories. I'll have to check.

That calorie count was 60 calories for the 5 saltines and 50 calories for a tbsp of the light version of ICBINB. I only ate two meals yesterday do to a small crisis with the inlaws that made me lose my appetite. I do ok with all meat as long as it's tender, just trying to get back into the swing of things after not paying attention to anything I ate for the last year and a half. So now of course seeing it on paper (or screen) makes me go whoa!! My main goal is three meals a day, nothing in between, unless I am physically hungry, one day at a time. I cannot snack, thats my addiction is the grazing. It's as appealing to me as sugar,or alcohol is to some people. I did buy some protein bars today to fill in the gaps, I'll probably go get some powder too. I do appreciate your comments though,so thank you. I hope you feel better.
Oh boy, I got exactly what I asked for... a busy job! I moved to the Emergency Room because the 6th floor has gotten very slow. 8 hours felt like 20. Yesterday was my 2nd day in the ER and I am freaking tired! I'm sure my body will get use to 3 12 hour says vs 5 8 hour days soon.
Anywho, my good eats..
Breakfast:
1/2 a whole wheat bagel with spray butter
about 1/2 cup leftover thin cut steak strips
1 Medium egg scrambled with cheese
Snack:
Snicker Marathon protein bar
Lunch:
Raw broccoli dipped in light ranch
1/2 a roast beef and cheese sammy
Snack:
FF Yogurt
few strawberries
Dinner:
My idea of healthy crock pot chicken parm..
Skinless chicken thigh cooked in Italian seasoning, peppers, onions, garlic, No sugar added spaghetti sauce then topped with FF mozzarella cheese.
small garden salad w/ light Italian dressing
Snack:
Cucumber slices dipped in light ranch
2 slices of deli ham rolled around 1 slice of RF cheese
I feel like I ate a lot today but i was starving when I ate. I wonder if it's because I'm moving around more?

3 TWELVES? yikes. But if it's busy and the time goes by fast...I like that. No time to eat, no time to get bored...I think you do feel like you're eating more and you might be..but because you're DOING more, your body needs the fuel..I see maybe a couple hundred more calories than normal but that's perfect!
